July 7, 2011 4:19 pm I tend to agree with Josh when he states in the podcasts that comics are just "another way to tell a story."  People will always judge you for the movies or novels that you watch or read.  I would just prefer that they are not judging the medium of comics itself.  No one has an opinion about you reading novels.  They are more concerned with the topic or story you are reading.

Wouldn't it be great if the day came that the average person in a cafe wasn't judging the comic in your hand but the fact that you are reading Locke and Key instead of Deadpool Team-Up?

4) The new price has brought in more readers, but DC has lost others due to a dip in quality.

Still reading:  Detective, THUNDER Agents, Xombi, Batman Inc.

Dropped:  JLA, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corp, Batman and Robin, Superman.

Price had nothing to with the drops, only qulality.  If there is a new Justice League International coming out, I will try it (loved JL Gen Lost), but there isn't anything else that is exciting me at DC right now.

May 11, 2011 3:54 pm PotW.  It's the best series I'm reading right now.  My friends who don't read comics ask me what happened each month just for the laughs.

May 11, 2011 3:47 pm This issue was just another in an ever-growing line of Layman and Guillory's insanely creative stories.  I don't know how many times Chew has been my PotW, but it's more than any other title with less than 20 issues to its name.
