September 2, 2013 4:34 pm I'm so sad I don't even know what to say. I've been with the site since Podcast #5 and I'm so glad that's at least continuing. It's hard to thank all of you for all the work you've done over the years. I've never gotten to meet any of you, but I felt every week like when I was reading my comics and then went to listen to the podcast that I was hanging around with friends. I actually started listening right after I'd moved to CA and knew no one. It's not an exaggeration to say that you guys helped me feel less alone during that period. I understand things change, people grow, lives evolve. I'm sure that if you think it's time then it is. Just know that you have had a huge impact on your listeners (for the better). I'm still in as a member til you shut the lights off. Thank you guys, truly. Dave Yaeger
March 7, 2013 10:55 am The talent alone will draw me to it, but how long is Lee going to stay? Three issues? Nguyen is one of my favorites as well though and completely underrated.
March 7, 2013 10:53 am I believe this is supposed to be a standalone Iron Man film with no one popping in but we'll see. The Mandarin voice is really bugging me. That being said, this was a fantastic trailer. Iron Man 3: The Deconstruction of Tony Stark.
November 2, 2012 9:51 am BATMAN - I've read the Dark Knight for 25 years and I've never been more excited to pick it up every month than I am right now. This is a truly special run stretching back to The Black Mirror. The rest of my top 5 would be Daredevil, Unwritten, Wolverine & The X-Men, and The Manhattan Projects.
September 24, 2012 12:59 pm OK, thank you! I thought I was the only one feeling like this, but as Marvel rolls more and more of their relaunch out (and that's what it is no matter how it's spun) I keep getting less and less interested. No, I freaked over the New 52 and I'm still pissed about some of it, but I'm still probably reading as many DC books as I was before the relaunch. With Marvel, every wave has me saying....well ok I guess I'm done with that. I'm not a particularly rabit X-fan, but I thought the line was at the strongest point top to bottom pre-AvX maybe in the 20 years I've read comics. Now, their main book is an Avengers book and the concept behind All-New X-Men seems just like a bad mini. But it's supposed to be the main X book as an ongoing! Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man, and the numbering and history is part and parcel to Marvel much more so than to DC because DC has never managed to maintain consistent continuity their entire history. These books are not going to suck in new readers and part of the history I love so much seems to be just falling by the wayside. We all know the numbering will fluctuate back and forth, but if you're going to have this gradual unveiling of Marvel NOW, sell it to the people who will actually buy the books. Will I try them? Yeah. But right now, Image is passing Marvel for me and it's dropping to my third company. And I've really been I guess one of the few who've loved AvX. I'm just dumbstruck that this is how it is being followed-up. Then I did like the first issue of Fear Itself so who really can trust me?
February 1, 2012 3:38 pm This is the greatest news in the history of man. I am more excited over this than the Watchmen cash grab.
January 2, 2012 8:29 pm Flashpoint Knight of Vengeance 2 was the best single issue I've read in the last three years.
June 13, 2011 4:03 pm I really like Amazing being the only monthly Spidey book.  Not really sure I see the need for a book featuring his team based activities since there are the team books for that.
June 8, 2011 9:47 am I guess I'm just confused.  The more that we go forward, the less change I actually see rather than a few rollbacks and getting Babs out of the chair...what's changing here other than everything's getting a #1?  I hated losing Tim, but it made a kind of sense because if we were deaging characters how are there room for all these Robins?  Meh, I dunno.  I just makes less sense from the original 'all-new, rebooted' standpoint as more things are announced.  Ron's dead-on btw.  They just don't have the creator depth on their roster to support these books.
June 3, 2011 9:50 am I honestly don't get the criticism of the post-BN GL books.  I've been loving them so I'm relieved to see, first of all that Johns is still writing (will he just give up sleep and food?), and that this epic story will impact the new DCU.  I'm onboard for all four.
