February 26, 2011 7:18 pm I also own the same limited edition 'balancing girl' print by Jamie McKelvie pictured in your photograph, like you mine is still in the carboard tube waiting to be framed somehow, sometime when I can afford to frame it.
October 5, 2010 12:30 pm This is the article that I have been waiting for. I prefer the printed page, my wife is a Typographer who carries on the family line in print, her father was a Printer before her and still owns the old wooden type setting trays that he used to use. I realize that all this stuff is done on computer now and that all that paper mounts up, but for me holding that book in your hands feels just right. Like everyone else I probably won't revisit most of these books so maybe the solution for all of us is to learn to let go, the zen approach. Thank you for that, a very heartening read.
August 30, 2010 3:46 pm no show at my lcs here in the UK, hoping it tirns up this Thursday
May 9, 2010 1:06 pm Jaw dropping art!!!! and fantastic story telling. I would have missed this if the guys at my LCS hadn't thrust into my hands. Thank God they did!

one week without comics?, don't hold your breath. News changing by the minute, last I heard was there were fresh ash clouds heading south and a possibility of neighbouring volcano going off aswell. Last time this happened in the 1800s it lasted 2 years. We might be looking at 'shipping' being the operative word!!  Answer: Put head in comic box and start praying.

Movie over 25 years old: Wargames ( with that big computer called WOPR) What did that stand for again?

January 13, 2010 5:45 pm The story has gone off the rails and I'm shocked that no one else has mentioned how DIRE the art is, especially in the last issue. It looks so rushed. Sadly I have dropped this, at this standard it's not worth the money.
May 5, 2009 2:18 pm @NJBaritone, great idea, I think this would make for a fun and interesting Video episode.
May 5, 2009 2:11 pm Balloons, booze, comfy chairs, gallery opening atmosphere, beautiful comic shop. My God, you Yanks are spoiled and I hope you realise it? Here in Cambridge UK, we have only have one Forbidden Planet, which I suppose is better than nothing. No discount comic book services over the pond either, however I didn't have to shoulder anyone out of the way to grab a copy of Blackest Night 0 from a big pile on the table. Love the photos by the way!
November 23, 2008 4:46 am Any thoughts on who the mysterious superwoman is at the end of this story? It doesn't sound like many people care. I can understand the jaded reactons to more filler and back story, once again genuine creativity held back by character/DCU archaeology. So is that the new Supergirl disguise? Despite her confusion on which direction to take, now that her parents have saved her from the Kryptonite poisoning, or is it one of those thousands of Kryptonians wanting a shot at the title?
October 4, 2008 2:18 pm Art:4!! You are joking. The faces were terrible, although that said overall it wasn't a waste of ink. I'm not liking this artist, sorry. The story and dialogue on the other hand has improved, but I do wonder is Supergirl the poison chalice for comic book creators?
