Name: David Dusbiber

My wife and I are both huge comic and video game fans. I love a wide range of comics with a focus on the big two in the past. Recently though, I've been dropping lots of Marvel and Dc comics while adding a lot of independent. I don't care what company writes something as long as it's a good comic. And lately I've been learning not to just keep collecting a comic out of habit. My favorite character is Batman although he's been handled badly as of late.

My comic shop clerk said this was going to be a small week, oh well there goes that idea.  17 books for me.  Maybe i need to become more picky.  Anyway, my most anticipated books this week are:  Batman and Robin-  loving the new direction of the batman universe lately: Reborn- return of steve rogers?  at least we're assuming that.  Does anyone know if they've...

Looking forward to the Batman related titles:  Oracle and Azrael.  Fables crossover has been good so looking forward to that as well.  Also Wonderful Wizard of Oz.  If you haven't been reading this one PICK UP THE TRADE WHEN IT COMES OUT.  The story and art are truly awesome.  Dumped Zorro last month, never lived up to it's potential in my opinion BQ:  never...

New Comics for 01/02/09 swear that this will be the year they get back in shape!

On Dec 29, 2008 5:10 PM

13 comics for me this week. I am really excited about The Stand.  Any Stephen King fans out there should pick up the tp when it comes out and start reading the next mini for it which comes out later in 09. Also excited about batman, green lantern, and Captain America. Wolverine comes out so sporadically, it's hard to remember what happened, maybe I'll wait and read them in one sitting....

New Comics for 12/10/08 like to dodge missles while doing backflips

On Dec 8, 2008 5:30 PM

Eagerly anticipating Detective to see the new direction unfold.  Also Dark Reign (was at first afraid title meant an earth dominated by skrulls, glad that's not the case. And hoping we may see an end to registration.  What do people think the chances of that happening are?)   Glad to see so many people excited about Echo.  It's a very worthy title.  Those not on the b...

New Comics for 12/04/08 have a big-ass turkey carcass in their fridge

On Dec 2, 2008 1:10 AM

Definitely most looking forward to Batman and the Sword.  I am curious what direction the Batman series is going to go from here.  Being a huge Batman fan, it's been a while since I felt so much anticipation instead of dread.  As far as the Sword goes, that title never  disappoints. It has quickly become one of my absolute favorites.   Also curious about Secret Invas...

New Comics for 11/12/08 will not be played by Megan Fox in the upcoming movie

On Nov 10, 2008 5:17 PM

I only had 4 pulls last week which is insanely small for me.  This week I'm up to 14.  The last year I've experimented more and more with indies and have often been rewarded.  those who are saying they are having a light week again, I have 3 suggestions,  Spooks:  Omega Team, a great supernatural book in the spirit of B.R.P.D.;  Galveston, a western mini, that take...
