September 1, 2013 5:14 pm It was iFanboy--the videos, the articles, and the podcasts--that got me into comics two years ago (I'm 19 now). It'll be weird not having the new articles every week, but I'm happy that the podcast will continue. Thank you for all the work, and thank you for teaching me what comics can be.
July 23, 2013 3:20 pm I think when Avenging first launched it was more in-line with the traditional Team-Up. Didn't they do a Devil Dinosaur/Moonboy Issue? But, once Yost came on as the regular writer it became much more of a supplement to Superior Spider-Man. In all fairness, they probably should've relaunched it once SpOck started being a thing.
May 8, 2013 9:49 pm Jumping on with Zero Year. Hesitant about another origin, but, after browsing a couple issues in the shop, I figured I should really give it a go.
April 22, 2013 10:38 pm I am 19. I love this book.
April 22, 2013 10:34 pm Dropped after issue 2. Picked up issue 5 on a whim. I'm hooked.
April 15, 2013 6:08 pm As much as I love the idea of the flashbacks, the last issue really benefited from the consistancy in focus. Also, that cover is fantastic; JR JR can draw dudes in rain like nobody's business.
March 5, 2013 9:22 pm I have to say that I'm personally enjoying "Avenging" much more than "Superior". I'm not so sure if it's the lack of Ghost Parker, or the slightly more rollicking tone (Seeing Ock try to mesh with the other heroes is a blast), or that Chris Yost is just doing superb work.
March 5, 2013 9:17 pm I'm curious to see how Marvel's method of releasing tie-in issues along with standard issues of the series works out. I here a lot of complaints about crossovers tainting some creator's stories, so this might somewhat obviate that? ...Might?
March 4, 2013 9:20 pm Geez! Where has Lafuente been? Marvel put him on something regularly right NOW!
March 4, 2013 9:16 pm I've decided to drop. I just wasn't digging it enough to justify purchasing 7 issues in 3 months. I think I just prefer smaller scale stories regularly with the occasional HUGE plot undertaking. Weaver's art looks stellar though!
