November 5, 2012 1:36 am Walking Dead.
I find this by far the best comic around. Why, because the story is so damn good and I can really imagine that if something like this would happen, the people would react this way. I have had already endless discussions with a friend of mine over different story lines, and that makes this book so good. I also made another friend of mine, who had never read a comic before in his life, fan of The Walking Dead. He has to buy them in TP because the earlier comics are very hard to find, and is waiting for Volume 2 & 3.
Saga is a very good runner up, but The Walking Dead remains my favourite.
July 16, 2012 1:48 am Very good news indeed for the comic book industry ! Normally I buy Walking Dead in trades, but number 100, I had to have at least one copy of that in comic form :-) I will not read it before it comes out in trade, but I'm glad I have it :-)
Great stories however, I love almost all things Kirkman is doing and I hope he will be here for a long time. Together with Vaughan he is one of the best. Image is really giving us some great comics, which I hope will be remembered forever.
July 11, 2012 1:28 am That season model sounds like a great idea. Would make the filing a lot easier. Now I read my weekly comics and just put them in long boxes in alphabetical order and by week. Not caring about the numbering at al.
July 11, 2012 1:04 am Are they afraid to reach number 1000 in the comic industry ? For instance DC rebooted Action, Detective, Batman,... when they were close to reaching number 1000.
I think al this renumbering will be renumbered to the orignal numbers when they reach number 1000, see what happened with the Wolverine comics, renumbering to number 1 and then suddenly it was number 300...
July 6, 2012 1:58 am Is this the new layout of comics @ Marvel in the future ? The numbering of the comics @ the bottom of the cover is not that easy when you have to search for a comic in a box @ the store.
June 23, 2012 5:57 am I think I have a misprint of mind the gap. The story begins and around page 12 it restarts completely, to continue again after 24 pages and to repeat again after 36 pages ???
Has anyone heard of this error ? It looks like an interesting story, but I think I have a misprint of some kind, or rather they put in the pages in error... ???
