There's not nothing wrong with using double negatives now and again. Really though, writers try to mimic spoken language, so that can be on purpose. It's the little typos that an editor should fix that stick out to me over possibly intentional "spoken" mistakes. 

I'm stoked. Savage Dragon is always best when long-term stories are being developed, and the return of Overlord could be a perfect kicker for a new epic tale.

I regularly recommend the library to fellow comic readers. The Interlibrary Loan program is one of the greatest things ever. I've easily read 50+ trades that way that I never would have risked my money on and it's gotten me to follow series in singles now that I absolutely love. It's win-win for comic readers and comic companies.

Great article. As fans we often value the content as so much more important than the behind-the-scenes work that it takes to produce a great comic or mini.

So jealous! Tracking down the last volume after it came out was a big pain where I live. Think I'll just stick with Amazon so I can read it as soon as possible.  

The first title that came to mind for a female Hulk fan has to be Dan Slott's run on She-Hulk. It's fun but also brainy. Great protagonist and a great way to get the girlfriend more pulled into the modern Marvel U.

Definitely going to read this. Maybe I'll even try to get the gf to read it. It's always great to find comics that can be enjoyed by all.

Quite a few books I am excited about reading. Both Spideys, Proof, and Brit may be my top reads. Of course, the SI tie-ins might trump those. BQ: Hmm...go for a neck beard! Someone's got to bring that style to the forefront.  

Fantastic article. I think this really sums up the type of experience one has with their first shop and also realizing that comics are more than a passing hobby. This could so be in a book of essays, imo.

Hearing all this praise for Fear Agent makes me want to try it out again. I bought the first 7-8 issues when it initally came out at Image and I enjoyed it. I guess I dropped the title due to money. It'd be worth pulling out those issues and rereading them and then maybe tracking down a trade or two to see if it can pull me back in.
