Pick of the week for me. Although the tone varied between the two sections of the book, I dug them…

March 12, 2013 4:04 pm Thank you! I was going to say this, but instead I'll just second this motion. One of the best Astro City stories ever, and that's really saying something.
March 11, 2013 2:27 pm seconded. Really enjoyed all of She-Hulk I had a chance to read, just a fun book. Even the trades are OOP, and way too expensive to justify picking up, Marvel really needs to get on the ball and reprint this series in some format or other.
January 26, 2013 6:48 pm Phonogram is a comic book. Sequential storytelling using words and pictures.
January 7, 2013 5:36 pm Swamp Thing.
December 4, 2012 5:25 pm He'll most likely suffer some indignity he could have in fact prevented with a single sentence. I swear, that guy bears more crosses than Jesus in Groundhog's Day.
December 4, 2012 2:03 pm Back in '98/'99 Kevin Smith's Daredevil and Marvel Knights got me back into the comic stores, but it was books like Scene of the Crime and Bendis' Torso that really opened my eyes to the possibilties of the medium. This year I finally got Brubaker to sign my original issues of Scene and let him know how much this little mini meant to me. Needless to say, this was an easy buy for me.
August 13, 2012 12:51 am @wangman Marvel Knights Inhumans maxi series with Paul Jenkins, the original Sentry miniseries, a really cool looking WWII-set GI Joe/Transformers book for Dreamwave, etc etc. Don't think he's done a ton of work recently, but there's been some pretty high profile gigs in the past.
August 9, 2012 11:19 pm Sooooooo into this. I wasn't going to go with Fantastic Four, just FF but I think Fraction's talked me into it. If they're going to be fairly interlinked, I might as well especially as they're keeping the $2.99 pricing on this and Deadpool (another book I'm giving a shot to). And call me shallow, but it doesn't hurt that they're using that '70s era Fantastic Four masthead.
August 9, 2012 7:47 pm According to the interview on the Word Balloon Podcast, his Thor run was his attempt to write a D&D-style adventure. Haven't read the series, so I don't know how well he succeeded in that.
August 9, 2012 7:13 pm @RecksDeud Blind Al. Looking forward to this! The right creators on the right project. I think this hits the mark.
