this is a series that nobody buys that everyone should. The art is so fantastic, the writing is top-noch and that first hardcover for Wounded Animals was one of the best purchases I've made over the last couple of years.
I would say either 145 or 146 will do. 146 is basically exposition from a different perspective of what was going on during 145, pretty much. So damn good. 144 was excellent as well.
April 21, 2009 2:13 pm Im so happy to be buying Hellblazer again. I stopped a couple of years ago after the whole Empathy arch. This is sooo good. Peter Milligan has got to be one of my favorite storytellers of the last several years.
April 21, 2009 2:12 pm the art was the only saving grace of the first issue, the writing was abismal. I don't know if I'm getting the rest of these. I will have to decide in the shop.
