February 3, 2012 6:28 pm They have the right to make it, I have the right not to read it. I hope everyone likes it, I'd be surprised if it's anything less than adequate. I just don't have interest. I understand the Superman analogy, it just doesn't sit with me as that is a character/universe that has been expanded upon and written by others since the beginning basically. Watchmen is so self-contained and is its own story. Just as I wouldn't want to watch a Taxi Driver movie not associated with Schrader or Scorsese, read a Harry Potter book by someone other than Rowling or flip through anyone other than Robinson on Box Office Poison. This isn't to say you or anyone else shouldn't do so. I just choose not to.
August 27, 2011 11:56 am Ha, a great round again.
August 17, 2011 9:29 am This was the book when I loved it the most. So fresh and exciting.
August 1, 2011 2:13 pm @player1  Couldn't disagree more about Ebert. Does he dislike some stuff I do, sure. But the guy regularly gives positive reviews to lighter, breezier pictures. He just gave a good review to Cowboys & Aliens for example.
    July 29, 2011 12:35 pm I want that Bat-hug one so much.
July 22, 2011 11:35 am Can I have them all?
July 22, 2011 11:28 am @ActualButt  I found Red Skull pretty underwhelming and given so little to do he barely made a dent.
July 22, 2011 11:27 am Liked it, didn't love it. Full review's on my site.

I have noticed a real divide on the ending though, with the modern day stuff. What's everyone else feeling on it? I didn't mind it myself.
June 30, 2011 4:05 pm @TheNextChampion  In regard to your amazing talent comment...Malkovich has been in plenty of awful big-budget movies in the past; getting him to show up is no shock. McDormand's more of a shocker to me.
June 30, 2011 3:56 pm Hated it myself and wrote about for the site I work for.

This series has never done much for me though, so keep that in mind I suppose.
