May 2, 2012 5:24 pm Congratulations. You just won the Internet.
May 2, 2012 5:23 pm I think you can read exactly into the comics on this one. Nolan kept pretty close to Year One with BMB. It's what we're not seeing in the trailer that's going to tell the story. Talia is in this. There will be a Lazarus Pit and a Ras cameo (all documented). With no Robin or Nightwing (that we know of) in the Nolanverse, there must be a stand in like in Knightfall. Don't forget Matt Modine's in this as well. Not exactly a throwaway actor either. Bruce will return. I don't think in anyone's wildest dreams that DC is going to let the character die. There's too much conflict in that in regards to the next movie. With the looming mega success of Avengers you can bet your bat ass there's going to be a JLA film. And Bruce will be in it. I think DKR is going to be close to Knightfall with a smattering of No Man's Land thrown in to wear Bruce out. Watching the second trailer before this one reveals a lot....
March 20, 2012 9:40 am NextChamp, it may be because during the regular season, people watch it on TVo, on-demand etc...but the endings they like to watch in real time. Conner, I believe that the spike in trade buys could be attributed to the fact that viewers keep hearing "it's different than the comics" or know a TWD comic fan. I've personally turned on three non comic friends onto the books.
February 8, 2012 2:06 pm Great review. Did anyone else FEEL the speed in those final panels. I felt like I was seeing this on screen. SO good. If DC would trim the fat and dump DK and revamp 'Tec, the bat books would be one of the greatest runs in history.
January 31, 2012 4:13 pm No. Skrulls belong to Fox as part of the FF franchise. Whedon and Feige have both denied that on the record.
    January 31, 2012 1:18 pm As an American, KillTheG1mp, I would LOVE a book called: l’homme chauve-souris! "Zoot allures! It's the....l’homme chauve-souris!!!!"
January 18, 2012 3:57 pm This was an amazing issue. I love the way Milligan has delved deep into John's past. It's a good jumping on point, thanks to a few key flashbacks. I wish Milligan would put this much love into JLA Dark which, though a life long JC fan, I'm very close to dropping.
January 17, 2012 12:07 pm Boy is that boring ass logo an Identity Crisis waiting to happen...
December 22, 2011 12:29 pm I wish they would collect American Gothic. JC's original appearance. It's Moore at his best. The current run by Milligan is shaping up to be legendary. Try to grab the trade of his work from #250 on. As a JC fan from the very beginning, I'm amazed that he's the only non superhero comic that's reached what? 285 issues? That's an impressive feat and serious kudos for DC for keeping one of the best comics in history around. Also, try to find the birthday issue (Delano run) where Swamp Thing provides the party with some umm....killer weed. :)
November 21, 2011 12:21 pm Anyone else catch the Silverblade shoutout? It was pretty awesome for longtime DC fans.
