There really isn't too much about Deadpool in New Mutants 98, which is the only one Liefeld had anything to do with, and he only plotted it. The two mini series are pretty good, one of them is written by Fabian Nicieza who scripted NM 98 and he was the writer on the entire Cable & Deadpool series, so if that is what you are have been reading you should like it. 

Hopefully they come out with volume 2 that has more of the Joe Kelly run than just one issue. That is generally accepted as the best Deadpool series.

I don't know if I'll keep reading it. Fraction and Brubaker made the Iron Fist such a cool character with a great background and history.

Maybe they set up a strong enough background that any good writer can run with it have tell a good story. I'll guess I'll give it a couple issues and see how it goes.

February 19, 2008 4:39 pm @Rofo Newbury comics is my backup store too, but I love the email every week. They give a nice clean list of all comics out this week. The coupons are nice too. If my local shop ever sells out of a book or I forgot one I often have a coupon of some sort. A clean newsletter is helpful, CSN is not.
