Name: Nathan Tubbs

Bio: Comic book fan since the early '90's when my Dad bought me a copy of the Death of Superman. Over time, I have progressed from a Superman fan to a "Bat-fan." I guess I just like the fact that you don't have to have superpowers to be a great superhero. Recently, I have expanded my reading base from superhero comics to books such as Mouse Guard, Mice Templar, and The Walking Dead.

October 5, 2008 7:23 pm yo...it was confusing for me too...
September 26, 2008 4:58 pm wow...thanks for sharing about your shelves, but I must say that I would be in big trouble with my wife if i made available to the internet a video of our home without cleaning first...you're bold, man
April 28, 2008 9:04 pm i know that you guys love Jim Hanley's in Midtown....but, Midtown Comics in NYC is offering DC Universe #0 for FREE while supplies last....

Last week's issue was one of my favorite thus far in the Countdown run. It seemed that the storylines started coming together, and there was some resolution in sight. However, I didn't find this issue as enjoyable. I guess I'm just getting really tired of the OMAC thing...maybe next week will be better. Nevertheless, I am enjoying Red Robin's role in this series...I am waiting to see how he interacts with the rest of the Batman family following Final Crisis....

As far as DC weeklys are concerned...I have enjoyed 52 and Countdown, and "Trinity" sounds like an interesting concept. However, I'm not sure if my wallet can handle another weekly. We'll have to wait and see...

February 27, 2008 5:43 pm I really enjoyed #0 and was anticipating this release, but I found this issue confusing. Black Terror appears out of nowhere....there's hundreds of robots running rampant...and where is the fighting yank's ancestor? Maybe the next issue will pull things together. I liked the art - Alex Ross is great, but the story was lacking...I give this book a 2 out of 5.
February 27, 2008 5:39 pm I loved this issue - it had a lot less action than the previous issues, but the dialogue with Hal, and Miller's narration of Batman's thoughts really made this an interesting read. I find it completely funny that Batman sees GL as a complete idiot. I do like GL, but this is an interesting take on the Batman-GL relationship. The last few pages, focusing on grief, give great insight to the development of the relationship between Batman and Robin. I give it 4 out of 5 - and I can't wait for the next issue.
February 27, 2008 5:35 pm At first glance, I enjoyed #674 becuase Morrison is finally explaining the whole "3 Batmen"  thing. After the conclusion of this issue (without the death of Batman), I am really anticipating how the current story will lead to the upcoming "Batman R.I.P." story arc. Although Morrson's run on Batman has not been my favorite (I have much more enjoyed Dini on Detective), but the last few issues have left me wanting more - and I like that. I give this issue a 3.5 out of 5.
