So happy to have a new Judd Winick book to mainline every month!

Once again, the cover for Lockjaw & the Pet Avengers was gorgeous and amazing.  I kept staring at it for so long before I opened the book, just finding all the beautiful animals IG had added to the tapestry.  He has such a gift for animals!

I trust Christos Gage.  He's created amazing characters so far in Initiative, so I can't wait to see what he gives us in Academy!

Mike Norton definitely rocks!  I went up to tell him how much everyone loves my Battlepug t-shirt, and he gave me a print!

Christos Gage's work on the Initiative has led to some of the most memorable moments for me.  Crusader's revelation that he was a hero recognized by the likes of Steve Rogers and Nick Fury--screw the Skrulls!  Butterball's touching final scene in his introductory issue...Penance being reunited with Niels/Hairball...Constrictor's reveal that he knows Diamondback is a spy but loves her ...

Alfred wins. And if we were talking Ultimate Jarvis, Alfred would win twice. And then feel bad about accidentally knocking that douche's head off with a half-strength test jab.

The Surrogates is some of the best sci-fi I have ever read

I want to see the sequel where Looney Leo spots Beast from across a room and lifts his martini in a toast of solidarity, and Beast mistakes him for another member of FAP wanting to throw down.

I fell in love with Amadeus Cho instantly, largely because he rescued and cared for the orphaned coyote puppy who spent a year worth of issues riding around in his jacket.  So that's a pet character due to the character's pet!   I also do a little dance of joy every time I see Butterball show up in the Initiative.

That was fantastic!  Great detail of Sherman reviewing Leopard Girl's bookstore application!
