"there is no place on earth for you now" also remember Megan's telling Conner that white martians are repressed people? i think he smuggled her to earth to give her a better life. J'onn people still live but maybe his family, his daughter?, died and lets say Megan is her age. i would think he would think "how would i hope someone would treat my daughter?" and maybe save her by taking her to earth.
