Before Iron Man came out in theaters, I hadn't bought any comics in more than a decade. Now, I'm surprised if I come out of the comic book shop with less than 10 comics. Blame the two guys at the midnight launch who handed me DC Universe #0 for free.
I grew up mostly watching Marvel and DC characters on Saturday mornings and not reading comics. I loved the X-Men, Spider-Man, and Batman. I thought I liked the Marvel universe a lot better, but I find myself buying DC books nearly 2-1. But ASM is still my favorite.

On Aug 19, 2009 11:50 PMI think Geoff is just co-writing the story. So, it shouldn't be that intensive for him and shouldn't really affect any comic writing I would think.

On Jul 22, 2009 1:23 PMThe only omission I thought warrented comment was Robert Crumb. Sure, he's not mainstream, but the entire list wasn't mainstream either.
