I was holding off for this, then after reading Josh's article STOP READING AND JUST READ THE BOOK, I decided I'd grab the two hardcovers (I just want to note I already HAD read it in singles). To my dismay, Volume 1 was nowhere to be found in HC. When I heard that DC wasn't going to reprint it, I figured they had the Absolute on the back burner. Yay!

Also grabbed the first Spirit hardcover from Cooke (again, first exposure, though in this case with the character).

Modern Warfare 2 from various gift card contributions, and Batman No Man's Land v.3 & Gotham Central v.1 with a Chapters gift card. Oh and some Microsoft point which went towards Abbey Road for Beatles Rockband.

Manapul is the very first artist to make me want to buy a book based solely on the art alone (Superman/Batman 60). He just keeps blowing me away, and I can now say I have a favorite artist. Love 'im!
