Love Finch's cover, but Aquaman? Well, if anyone can make me like the character, it's Johns.

ABSOLUTE ALL-STAR SUPERMAN Coming in October!

On Feb 4, 2010 10:57 PM

Finally.  I was holding off for this, then after reading Josh's article STOP READING AND JUST READ THE BOOK, I decided I'd grab the two hardcovers (I just want to note I already HAD read it in singles).  To my dismay, Volume 1 was nowhere to be found in HC.  When I heard that DC wasn't going to reprint it, I figured they had the Absolute on the back burner.  Yay!

The iFanboy Skip Week Challenge 2009!

On Dec 29, 2009 3:49 PM

Not wanting to add to my pull list, I decided to do this in a slightly different way.  Grabbed the comlete Girls.  This is the first time I've checked out the Luna brothers.  Also grabbed the first Spirit hardcover from Cooke (again, first exposure, though in this case with the character).

Holidays 2009: What Did You Get?

On Dec 28, 2009 1:42 PM

Fantastic one this year.  Asterios Polyp, Gotham Central V.2, Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and Locke & Key HC from my wife.  Modern Warfare 2 from various gift card contributions, and Batman No Man's Land v.3 & Gotham Central v.1 with a Chapters gift card. Oh and some Microsoft point which went towards Abbey Road for Beatles Rockband.

Geoff Johns talks THE FLASH (and the first colored Manapul art)

On Dec 10, 2009 2:12 PM

After reading Fear Agent I felt I had finally find my favorite writer in Remender.  Manapul is the very first artist to make me want to buy a book based solely on the art alone (Superman/Batman 60).  He just keeps blowing me away, and I can now say I have a favorite artist.  Love 'im!
