I encountered the 'difficult to read' issue with my first omnibus: New X-Men.  I found that it was easily dealt with by grabbing a pillow, putting it on my lap, then placing the book on said pillow.  Still... not the easiest read books.

Nice.  Had NO idea this was coming out today.  Too psyched for the PC version of Batman Arkham Asylum.  I dug the first one, but not enough to grab this at the release-date price.  Hopefully it drops quickly!

Wow. If I wasn't already getting my books monthly from DCBS, this'd really, really suck.

Sorry, but I gotta disagree whole-heartedly.  I've never been more interested or excited in the Superman books.  Mon-El, Nightwing and Flamebird are completely new characters to me, and I've since hunted down the singles for Last Son (and all other Johns Superman books - though I had already read Braniac) to catch up on Chris' history, and have also been checking out the Legion. ...

Awesome.  I was just telling a friend whom I introduced to The Walking Dead that it wouldn't work as a movie, but possibly a TV show.  Here's hoping this takes off and is done right.

I agree; however, a lot of these titles are books that I either read as they came out (advantages of working at an LCS, or friends had loaned me their copies.  Now, Rebirth is one that I might wait for in Absolute.  The art is gorgeous and I'd love to see it in that format.  I don't own a copy yet, but I have read it.  All Star Superman I have also read.  Had it be...

So good.  I've just loaned it to my mother, who loves crime fiction (and enjoyed the movie adaptations of The Hunter) but never explored comics.  If she digs it, then Criminal's up next :)

I've never read this, but always wanted too.  So many trades available, I've always been too lazy to wade through them.  I LOOOOOVE Echo, so I'll be grabbing this for certain.  Here's hoping DCBS discounts the hell out of it!
