But in just the first two paragraphs it occurred to me, maybe the thud was because Superman was totally willing to hit the marble floor with all his weight. I know even in a moment of anguish, such as this, I would not want to hit a marble floor with my knees with all my weight behind my knees. I could seriously hurt myself, but Superman couldn't be hurt by such a simple thing as pounding a knee into a little marble. That option would have killed the thought experiment though.

February 18, 2013 12:10 pm Loved the interaction between Daryl and Merle (+1 Stuclach) and I agree that it is hard to believe that they become stormtroopers when firing at live targets. I totally believe they all have built up the skills to hit a zombie with a headshot at 40 yards every time with a pistol, one-handed. That would be a skill every person that survived 9 months into a zombie apocalypse would have, but not being able to hit live targets does not equate. That said, I didn't find it that surprising that Axel was killed, when slightly background characters start getting more than 3 or 4 lines in an episode, they will die by the end. It's starting to be predictable.

November 12, 2012 11:31 am @flackbait, yes, they will need more formula, but it is a TV show, they will need more formula when it is convenient for the storyline. Otherwise, they are all stocked up, we even saw Maggie getting stocked up on diapers and such. That formula might last 3 or 4 days IRL, but those diapers wouldn't last 6 hours. Just sayin...

October 22, 2012 12:24 am Well, I guess I should have said, "to me," its about all that stuff. If it has to be about something religious to you, well that is your business. If you are stuck in 'tradition' for everything, that's your deal too. And if everything in your life is about contradicting someone else, go ahead too. My life is more about having fun, learning all I can learn, and helping others. Halloween falls under the 'having fun' category to me. I can't imagine getting as angry about this as some people. I agree though, kids today know nothing about tradition, but some traditions deserve to die. As a teacher, I don't see much in the way of a lot of children worried about tradition, not that it is such a bad thing.

October 18, 2012 12:45 pm Never in my life have I ever complained about a woman wearing a 'sexy' anything costume. Nor will I ever complain about it, no matter how inaccurate it is. Gentlemen and ladies, that's what Halloween is all about, dressing up in clothes that make you look good, Suits or other kinds of dress up for guys, and slutty wear for women. One year, my best costume idea ever, My best friend and I dressed up as the Blues Brothers. We looked awesome. Sunglasses at night and everything. I don't get the fake muscles thing, either. And only dress up as devils or monsters if the costume allows you to show skin, and it looks good showing that skin. Otherwise, I don't get it in the same way as the fake muscles confuse me.
