@ Josh & Conor - Great save at the end of the show!  You guys had me worried you were all going to forget Green Lantern in your Top 5.  lol

My 5:  Green Lantern, Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, Invincible Iron Man, & GL Corps

I'm also liking the Batman titles of the new paradigm, but I agree with Josh - they're too new to be included.

March 28, 2009 8:00 am @ Conor, you will definitely have to make a post after you've watched JLU.  I'm surprised you've never seen it.  A fan of the DC Universe, such as yourself, ought to love the show.  The first season, with the Cadmus arc, is particularly good.  Despite the breadth of chararcters introduced, Timm & Co. did an outstanding job of developing several characters very well.  Green Arrow & the Question were probably my personal favorites.
March 21, 2009 3:33 pm WOW!  That was an amazing finale.  I just wish I could've seen it live.  Because I live in Germany, I have had to watch this season through iTunes.
March 16, 2009 4:26 am @ Conor:  I wasn't aware of that.  Good to know.  Though, I can't believe you just used a Sentry reference.
March 15, 2009 4:18 am @Conor I share your grief over Adama.  I want the LT Castillo moustache back too.  How cool would it also have been if Don Johnson or Philip Michael Thomas had guest-starred in an episode ?
February 7, 2009 2:11 pm This has been a great discussion to which I can definitely relate.  I have been arguing the virtues of quality over quantity for years, often from a marketing standpoint.  I constantly am annoyed that DC & Marvel often market their products with too much of a focus on quantity, which is why we are constantly beset with cross-overs and events that force one to read titles they normally wouldn't in order to understand the context of events in the books they do read.  I have on many occasions dropped books that I was previously reading rather than be forced into buying a book in which I normally have no interest.  I am more annoyed though because I will always believe this tactic is a fallacy.  If the marketing focus were always focused moreso on the quality rather than quantity of the product sold, Marvel and DC would be more successful and sell more books because people will usually pay a little more each month to read more books that are all of good quality.

Wow!  This was one of the best episodes of BSG in a while.  I just hate that we only are getting six more episodes.  I have no idea how the creators are going to wrap up everything, and I love it.  I just hate that I have to watch the show on iTunes because I'm in Europe.
