May 14, 2013 7:48 pm There's a quick bit where it seems like maybe-Luke Cage has some manner of superspeed. Just to throw out a possibility: Triathlon?
February 18, 2013 4:53 pm I'm in exactly the same boat. I've liked parts, but not consistent enough to continue if this one doesn't blow me away.
July 15, 2012 4:07 pm I'm pretty sure Hypno Hustler was foretold by the Mayans, so you're probably right.
May 21, 2012 7:54 pm Love that they got a "Son of Coul" in there.
May 8, 2012 11:09 am I loved it for 3 reasons. A) It's a callback, as mentioned. B) I can't help but watch it as a dig/shout-out to Bendis. Avengers sitting around eating. C) It's a great gag on the people who've watched all these movies, and been trained to watch all the credits in case anything amazing happens, and our ultimate reward is the dumbest thing imaginable.
January 23, 2012 12:25 pm You guys might be reading too much into that. If their twitter accounts are to be believed, the "Venom 24th Anniversary" thing is literally just a joke Stephen Wacker got through, as opposed to using the Spider-man 50th thing the other books have. Jan 12th @Remender: "When @StephenWacker told me he was planning a 24th anniversary promo for Venom I thought he was joking - yfrog.com/odalfxzj" @StephenWacker: "@Remender I can't believe that exists! I love Marvel."

December 6, 2011 8:28 pm I barely ever read an Avengers comic before Bendis, but I've read it ever since. Because of Bendis' Avengers, I also started reading Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, Young Avengers, Hulk, Spider-Woman, and plenty more characters and series I really never gave a second thought before hand. Which led me to discovering a ton of other writers and artists I've come to love as a by-product. Before Bendis' Avengers, I loved Spider-man. I loved the X-men. I loved the Fantastic Four, But Bendis' Avengers is what me made me love Marvel as a whole. As being more than the sum of it's parts. Thanks Bendis.
October 28, 2011 5:14 pm This was literally the X-men comic I've wanted my entire life. I wasn't a huge fan of the Morrison run, but I did love that he fully played up the school angle. After that, when Harry Potter and Naruto were the biggest kids products in the world, I couldn't fathom why the X-men abandoned the school aspect that they had pretty much invented. The wacky, Hogwarts-style aspect of the school being played to it's fullest is awesome and exciting.
October 24, 2011 11:02 am Hey now, Fraction and Brubaker might not have had the best runs, but let's not get hasty and lump them in with Austin.
