July 18, 2013 12:18 am I'll agree with that. Considering the whole thing is done almost solely by one man, it's a good time, pulp, Indiana Jones with dinos and Nazis romp more people should be reading!
July 9, 2013 12:34 am At this point I'm just hoping this book finishes soon. No offense to either creator, but c'mon...
July 9, 2013 12:33 am This is by the same author of the Image book "Drums" - seriously under-rated, and the first issue was cracking! I know it's a really small press label, but if you can find it, check it out!
July 9, 2013 12:32 am Had a signing with both Ed and Kurtis (Kurtis, I'd met before) - both super nice, talented guys. I was already sold on this book but meeting Ed and seeing how down to earth he was didn't hurt. This is going to rule!
July 2, 2013 10:59 pm Whoops, got my no-cover preview comments mixed up! Thought that comment was in regards to Uber! No, I'm LOVING 10 Grand from beginning to end. Doesn't hurt my fave artist Sinkiewicz does variant covers!
July 1, 2013 11:36 pm I care as well. It hasn't really hit its stride yet though. I know Gillen can write a good story, hopefully his gears start clicking soon.
July 1, 2013 11:35 pm This series is going to be missed. It was probably too intelligent for the average super-guy meathead.
July 1, 2013 11:34 pm I love some pulp heroes, and Dynamite does pulp better than any company currently publishing.
July 1, 2013 11:33 pm I'm going to be very tentative about this book, as both creators are extremely hit and miss for me. When they're firing on all cylinders, they're brilliant. When they slip, they slip...hard. First issue will solely determine whether I come back for a second (or third, fourth, etc) serving.
May 29, 2013 12:00 am I'm extremely fortunate. My 'local' store is only about 6 blocks from my house and has a great staff, a great atmosphere, and other great customers I can talk 'shop' with. Not only that, the customer base, like myself, is mostly indie-oriented, so not only do I get all my books, the guys always have cool indie titles on display I may not know anything about, but always end up being worth a look. Not to mention toys, shirts, unique art on the wall, signings and parties...Arcane Comics in Ballard, the best shop in Seattle! If I had to relocate, I'd still try to get there!
