May 18, 2012 3:24 pm Would love to see a Jughead/The Amazing Spider-Man #50 cover parody: JUGHEAD NO MORE!
March 9, 2012 1:10 pm Saw this at a screening last week and absolutely enjoyed it. If you like Westerns, fantasy, or Star Wars, there is definitely something to like here. I try not to plug the blog I write for here too much (I don't want to be *that guy*), but here is our review: http://www.filmhash.com/main/2012/3/4/review-john-carter.html
February 10, 2012 2:04 pm Glad I can always count on Paul for a Wawa reference! PS I can't wait for this book!
February 1, 2012 11:01 am @shemko I really don't see any difference, nor do I see any problem with a Citizen Kane-world TV series.
February 1, 2012 9:34 am I'd actually be 1000x more likely to read that. Manhattan (to me) is not that interesting of a character, but Morrison writing him would definitely make it strange enough to be worthwhile.
February 1, 2012 9:02 am Why not? Just curious.
February 1, 2012 9:01 am I look at this like the Star Wars novels/comics/TV show/Video games. It's ancillery, but that doesn't mean it won't be a whole lot of fun. I enjoy some of that 'extra' Star Wars material, I ignore the stuff I don't like or aren't interested in, and none of it could ever affect my enjoyment of the films.
December 22, 2011 3:54 pm Superman Returns also cost a hell of a lot more than Batman Begins.
October 11, 2011 12:49 pm Sadly, until reading Justice League Dark #1, I had no idea The Shade and Shade, the Changing Man were two different characters. I had never actually read anything with the latter in it. All that aside, The Shade is probably the part of Starman I'm most comfortable with Robinson revisitiing. Let Jack Knight rest.
September 9, 2011 2:15 pm I love the Jack Knight Starman and while I am fine with leaving it a complete story, I'd probably read anywhere he showed up. It would be really interesting to see him as an Earth-2 character, though. I hope the JSA book still holds the legacy aspect (how cool would it be if Wally took over for Jay Garrick on E-2??)
