STAR WARS #6
June 12, 2013 4:06 pm Did my digital comic not come with the Han Solo part of the book? Based on the issue summary text, I thought we were going to get more than a few panels of Han and Chewie.....

Teaser: Gillen & Eaglesham Expecting a ‘Secret Origin’ This May
February 7, 2013 1:52 am I personally loved Fraction's run....well, until Iron Man was renumbered to 500. I didn't make it even half way through the first issue before covering up the iPad. I will blame the art more so than the writing, but art takes me out of the story.

AVENGERS #5
February 7, 2013 1:07 am I agree with everything in this review. I did not like last issue at all mostly because it felt like a superman retelling and the art was bad.
The art was so much better this issue, but there were a few panels that felt rushed. I'd still give the art a 4. There were so many scenes in this issue that really got me. The one you mentioned about grand pa, Hulks response as to what a Smasher should do against an armada, Cap's proud look at her promotion, the Avengers calling card, or the panel of just her lips when she decided to upgrade, the peaceful farm scapes as well.. Great, great, great issue.
One thing not mentioned in the review but should not be forgotten is the gorgeous cover that is actually relevant to the story. I must have gazed at it on my ipad for at least 5 minutes (yes, I am an Iowa boy). This is so what I want in an Avengers story. I want to spend more time with Smasher!

January 28, 2013 1:58 pm Even though we get no Aja interiors, that cover puts me in a happy place. I love this book.

January 13, 2013 4:02 pm This series needs another oneshot like the Doop issue. That is the silliness I loved. This was just awkward

I didn't think so. Luke still had the hots for her at the end of New Hope and during a good part of Empire. What better way to make yourself look better to her than your competition, Han Solo, than to boldly stand up for her in front of others. Classy move Luke. Han better bring his A game.
