What a strange issue. It’s so strange I have to do a review on it. Honestly, I don’t think Paul…

Now that’s more like it! Last week had this series suffer from some really poor art from, shockingly, a Kubert….

“You wanted fighting!? FINE! Here’s some fighting damn it!”-Mike Mignola Okay, he never said that. Considering how many people seemed…

May 20, 2013 9:58 pm I expect another solid issue as this has been steady since the President's arc ended.
May 20, 2013 9:57 pm Samnee is really killing it lately with the covers. So I'm going to assume Foggy is going to kick the bucket? Seems like Waid is a bit of a bastard to do that.
May 20, 2013 9:56 pm This quote seems to work well for the cover: "Gentlemen, you had my curiosity, now you have my attention."
May 20, 2013 9:54 pm So is there someone else in the Captain Universe costume? (I know it's an entity but not sure how else to phrase the question) Hickman seemed to imply the woman we followed in the Universe issue isn't in it anymore.
May 20, 2013 9:53 pm Ostrander is a bit of a random choice of a fill in....Until you realize the issue is about 'The Others'. A dynamic team like that totally fits in his wheelhouse and I'm excited to read this. Not familiar with the artist though. I know there's a thing as 'Google' but does anyone know who he is and what he's done?
May 18, 2013 8:03 pm Shameless self plug.....But here's a review I did that encompasses my thoughts more clearly. http://a-collection-of-ramblings.tumblr.com/post/50768207352/review-startrekintodarkness
May 18, 2013 7:59 pm Both movies have major issues.....But yeah Iron Man 3 is the way to go.
May 18, 2013 7:58 pm I didn't notice that before but yeah, the ending of this movie is almost the same as the first Abrams movie. They got through all of the alternate reality stuff and got on to do their own adventure. Hopefully if a third movie happens we'll actually SEE an original story. Also, I thought Spock was too much of a robot this time around. The writers made him more Data than Spock in my opinion.
May 18, 2013 12:09 am Unfortunate but I don't think it'll still make DC realize they are in the shit. It's gonna take an even bigger name that Robinson for that to happen. If someone like Johns, Lemire, or Synder decides to leave (doubtful but you never know now) then DC is gonna get their act together. Hope I'm not sounding too callous about Robinson leaving. Just not a big fan of his like a lot of people are. Still doesn't make this news any less depressing and frustrating.
May 18, 2013 12:06 am Surprised on how much Booth is impressing me over at Nightwing. It isn't perfect but some of those pages in Nightwing this week was fantastic. I did love the 'grim reaper clock' sequence in The Fall Of The House Of Usher. Corben taking the time to set up the mood with such a weird clock was just one example of his skills at work.
