Ah I take back my previous statement, looks like they changed the page number to 80 from 32. I am looking forward to some holiday heo action! Who am I kidding, 90% of the reason I'm getting this is for Lemire.

December 7, 2009 11:53 am @gobo I wouldn't lose interest enough not to read the next book, but I would forget about it until 6 months later when it pops up on shelves. With monthlys, however, the characters and happenings of the past month are still bouncing around my head when I pick up the next issue, and I like that a lot. It makes the comics feel more like one fluent story rather than chapters.
December 7, 2009 11:38 am At only 2 OGNs coming out each year for each series I'll stick to my monthly's. I dont want to have to wait 6 months after finishing one story to get the next - I'll lose interest in those 6 months!
November 24, 2009 4:45 pm Anyone else notice on page 11 they use orange on matamorpho to represent compassion instead of indigo? That kinda stuff really annoys me... i know, i know... but GAH!
November 5, 2009 12:53 pm I cant believe I spent $20.00 on this mini... I really need to pick my comics better.

Wow Gordon's tattoo looked incredible, it may be a dumb question but where is the image from. Is it a sketch Cooke had done? Is it from one of his books? I's love to see that image off of Gordon's body, it looked fantastic!

Any help would be much appreciated.

August 21, 2009 2:26 pm Wow... Thanks for this enlightenment Ron. Does remind me of Quitely and Pope, which are 2 of my favorite artists, but far from a simple mix of the two. He definitley has his own unique style and I'm in love. Too bad Mesmo Delivery is going for about 100 quid at the moment, cannot wait for the reprint. Awesome find!

I'm somewhere in the middle on this issue. On the one hand, I love a bit of "grounding" with my superheroes. For example, I loved the scene at the start of Ultimate Spider-Man where him and Mary-Jane are talking while cleaning his spider-costume, and Mary-Jane complains about the holes in it. I know its said all the time, but in this case it really did make spider-man more relateable. On the other hand in Waid's second Flash run it seemed like every other page Wally was complaining about being broke... and that got real boring real fast!

    It's all good in moderation...

@GimpTactics It was stated above that they will be launching in the UK as well as NZ, Australia, and North America (including Canada.) I'm assuming it will be abround a pound per comic. I can't wait :)
