May 18, 2012 12:26 pm He's on another CW show this fall. But you gotta think its weird for him to see someone else doing it. I understand they wanted to start over, but I would have loved to see it spinoff from Smallville. Or even if it was not a spinoff, i'd still like to see him in the role again..
May 18, 2012 12:23 pm He does seem super-serious! Maybe he'll lighten up a bit once it gets going... That was one of the best things about Justin Hartley's portrayal of Ollie on Smallville. He could play the serious stuff, but he was also funny. I dunno if this new guy has the personality to pull that off yet...
May 4, 2012 9:24 am Most unexepected moment but completely hilarious? So many to pick from, but i'm going to say the Hulk punch to knock Thor out! LMAO
May 4, 2012 9:20 am BEST SUPER-HERO MOVIE YET!!!!! Joss Whedon gave me my first tv obsession in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Now he's given us a true gem and serioiusly the best super-hero movie I could imagine. He hits every note. He gets the characters. The dialogue, the action, the humor, the intensity, its all there... He found a way to do it nearly perfectly. I can't wait to see it again this weekend! "HULK... SMASH!!!"
May 2, 2012 5:10 pm Saw it last night in a Pittsburgh advance screening. I couldn't agree more with the review! It was amazing! It was the best Superhero action I've ever seen on screen. Whedon brings the comicbook to life, its really great!
March 30, 2012 3:39 pm Nice mix of new and retro. Cool! Only 440 days to wait! lol Next up... a teaser trailer... say on opening day of The Dark Knight Rises?
March 22, 2012 10:44 am I stick strictly to DC Comics these days, but I loved the film John Carter so much, I've been looking for any and all John Carter stuff i can get my hands on. So in addition to my weekly DC fix, I picked this book up yesterday as well after paging thru it and being impressed with the artwork as well. I'm extra pumped to read this now that i've read this review! Thanks Josh! Now go see the movie in theaters before it disappears...
March 21, 2012 11:54 am Would have been cool to get a Smallville spinoff, but a fresh new take is also welcome! I hope this gets picked up unlike Wonder Woman last year...
March 13, 2012 9:59 pm I thought the IMAX 3D was pretty amazing!
March 13, 2012 11:33 am Hey guys, I found a VERY interesting article late last night. It puts forth a very detailed story of how the movie was killed by the very first teaser trailer and includes inside sources from Disney that are placing much of the blame for said marketing on none other than the director himself, Andrew Stanton. It is a pretty compelling case that makes a lot of sense. I definitely reccommend checking this out. They are saying that he strong armed Disney into letting him do whatever he wanted and he did not take the advice of their marketing team, so much so that their Mkting head quit her job. He used his previous success from Pixar against them and they have him quoted as saying the studio was scared of him. If this is the case, then he did this to himself. He made a fantastic live action movie, but did not want to trust the powers that be on how to advertise. I honestly think this makes much more sense than Disney completely botching the marketing for a $250M would be franchise. I think its a case of a guy with too big an ego for his own good and no one from the studio with any balls to stand up to him when he didn't know what was best for the final product sell. Its a shame.. http://www.vulture.com/2012/03/john-carter-doomed-by-first-trailer.html
