February 27, 2013 2:48 pm I agree, the interaction between Robin and Nightwing this issue was great. Definitely paid respects to the pre-New 52 Batman & Robin book, which was fantastic under Morrison. I am a pro-Damian and Dick Grayson team.
February 27, 2013 2:47 pm I have to say I was very disappointed that DC shouted out the spoiler for this issue everywhere. Maybe they thought they would avoid the ASM #698 & #700 leak problem by spoiling it themselves first but I hated that I couldn't even view a comic website without this issue's ending being hinted at or even given away on some (DC's website). I know I could have avoided the internet but I didn't know the ending would be plastered everywhere, I originally stumbled upon it by accident a few days ago. Regardless, I read the issue first today out of my pile and was definitely the most excited about this one in my pull list. Damian has been great in the New 52 and I'm very glad that Batman readers are graced with his presence in so many of our issues. I think Morrison did handle the writing of this issue well and I do feel the death had an impact. Even though it was spoiled I couldn't wait for the page reveal and the actual outcome.
February 21, 2013 1:57 pm The Jurgens/Jimenez art during the prologue sequence did it for me on this issue. Such a classic look, I can't help but love it.
February 6, 2013 3:44 pm Almost the exact same panel from Avengers #1 is in this issue, so yes. Though the full ramifications will probably be seen next month.
February 6, 2013 3:42 pm Great issue, just read it earlier today and can't say a bad thing about it. I'm a huge fan of the Infinity Gauntlet story and this issue hits all the right cords with me. The giddy reader/fan in me hopes the three panels shown when the gauntlet is activated spell future stories, as fast as possible.
January 24, 2013 12:21 am Pantera and Street Fighter references from DP had me hooked on this issue. Definitely a highlight of my collection for that reason alone. These four issues have already redeemed the character from Daniel Way's solo series, in my personal opinion. Remender still writes the best DP though, Uncanny X-force did a great service to the character. I'm not ashamed to be a Deadpool fan when it comes to UXF and this new solo title.
March 29, 2012 12:36 am Oh. Yep. Haha.
March 28, 2012 6:39 pm So did anyone else's retailer put out issue #1 with this one as well? Because the store I go to in Kirksville, MO sure did. I was happy to purchase both #0 and #1 today.
March 20, 2012 11:43 pm Same here on Avengers X-Sanction. I am a fan of Ed's artwork, even though its super cartoony and over-exaggerated, so that is one of the few main draws for me. I just want to see how it ends and hopefully Spidey's interactions with Wolverine fighting Cable will be worth the read in laughs.
March 20, 2012 11:40 pm Batman #7 Justice League #7 Avengers X-Sanction #4 Wolverine #303 Deadpool #52 Batman #7 will be the most anticipated, of course, the hype for this title does not lie. I'm also very anxious to see what changes will be made in J.L. since it's supposed to be set in real time now, 5 years after the first arc. I love Wolverine so I'm glad to see him (hopefully) kick Cable's whiny ass in Avengers X-Sanction, with some wise-crackin' commentary from Spidey, and I'm curious to see how the current arc in "Wolverine" is going to end.
