February 1, 2012 4:21 pm I read this on tumblr and think it is a pretty good way of putting my thoughts. "'Unnecessary' is not the same as 'lacking in merit'." I'm sick of people saying these will ruin Watchmen. I don't see how that is at all possible. For as terrible as the Star Wars prequels were, the original trilogy is still a beautiful set of movies. It's all about what you let these stories do. If you don't like them, then don't consider them canon. If you love them, then enjoy! You now have an even wider universe with the characters you love.
February 1, 2012 4:04 pm I do not know you, but I think I'm in love. This comment is everything I was about to type out. Thank you!
February 1, 2012 7:57 am There are some really great creators on this project. I'm interested in what they come up with. Is this whole thing necessary? No. Is there a chance they'll be really good and interesting? It sure seems like it.
January 30, 2012 11:18 am The quality of someone's acting has no connection to the channel on which their show is aired.
January 28, 2012 5:42 am Oh... oh my... that Barry Kitson art... wow. I approve.
January 28, 2012 5:36 am I saw the title of this article and panicked for a second. I thought it was going to double ship this month already. I haven't had a chance to pick up and read issues 21 but I plan to. I've only heard good things and the preview I read on Graphic.ly was gorgeous.
January 19, 2012 2:54 pm Can you guys make it possible for us to give this more than 5 stars? This issue was un-freaking-believable.
January 19, 2012 1:24 pm I really like how it looks on the books. It's simple and clean and easily adapted to each book. To me, it looks like a logo that a normal book publisher would use. You can tell it's DC but it doesn't distract from the rest of the cover. Also, did anyone notice the issues they altered are numbered 708? Does that number have any significance to DC?
January 5, 2012 11:47 pm Swamp Thing and Animal Man are by far the best things coming out of the New52 and these issues cemented that. Both titles this week gave me fantastic story with exceptional "Holy crap!" moments. The layouts (and art in general) in Swamp Thing are some of the best I've seen. While the majority of people are praising Batwoman, I see Swamp Thing as a much better book. Not only does it have gorgeous art but it also has a far more compelling story and is better written. Batwoman is still gorgeous but Swamp Thing is a better all-around book.
