September 2, 2013 2:36 pm I, too, may not comment as frequently, but that doesn't mean I wasn't checking in on an almost daily basis. I think it was Josh who said in the podcast #400 episode something about how intimate the format of podcasting can be. You guys don't know me from any other random goofy-looking dude living in central Ohio, but after listening to your conversations for years now, my mind can't help but think of you as friends. If this decision is what's best for you, then like any good friend I support you 100%. I absolutely wish you the best in whatever you do from here on out. Thanks.
April 18, 2013 4:32 pm Thanks for the article, Molly. As a father of two young girls, I worry about their self-esteem growing up and the role of body imagery in their own development. I've always thought that comic books can be inspiring (they have always been for me, and God knows my pecs have never come close to Superman's). I hope that seeing strong female characters and role models will be of value to them as well.
March 25, 2013 5:54 pm Anybody know if this is a pre-determined mini-series or an ongoing? Thanks.
March 19, 2013 6:34 pm My first digital purchase. It would take someone like Vaughan to push me on this. I see more in my future. What a great, great start for a comic.
May 21, 2012 7:21 pm Walt Simonson draws the Enchantress on the cover. OK, here's my money...
March 17, 2012 12:43 pm If there was a "panel of the week" it has to be the one with Franklin Richards. I became positively giddy reading that. At age 38, I don't often feel like a 10 year old anymore, but that scene did it for me. Thank you for that, Hickman and Epting.
February 19, 2012 1:29 pm Thanks. I, too, think Osborn as a top tier supervillian is a nice edition to the Marvel U. No matter what some might say, his role here is a clearly evolving one, and not just a rehash. Hopefully it will play out in an equally pleasing way.
February 10, 2012 8:11 pm Keep those Art Adams' covers comin'....
February 4, 2012 3:33 pm I couldn't agree more. Morrison killed this book and somehow DC let him do it. What a shame.
January 29, 2012 9:31 am Couldn't agree with you more. Loved the character back in the day and was thrilled to see "him" have a book again in the new 52. Unlike you, though, I still find myself on the fence after these 5 issues. I do like the novelty of the character reinvention and want to remain open-minded. The series does seem to be picking up steam, but it's still not where I'd really like to see it-- poofy sleeves and all... I'll keep at it, but I'm not overly optimistic just yet.
