I was cautiously optimistic about this series after the first issue.  It was nice and I could see the spark…

This ending really punches you in the gut.  I didn’t notice that the pilot had been hit, though it is…

I was very underwhelmed with the Dark Ages story, and I fully disliked the Crossover.  To be perfectly honest this…

May 18, 2012 7:26 pm Don't knock it till you try it. I had a pretty good one of these about a year ago. Another fun, but far easier to find by comparison is oyster stouts. They can be made either filtered through crushed oyster shells or, you know, just made with oysters which my understanding is the more common practice.
May 15, 2012 11:47 am The Escapist is also really good and not too long.
May 4, 2012 5:35 pm Things went off the rails once Johns left for me (I never got to read it with Robinson). I hope they go for more of the family/training younger heroes aspects you got from JSA then. That's why I've always preferred JSA to the JLA.

April 26, 2012 3:19 pm I'm really glad I read your comment before moving to the whole article. I totally didn't think about that at all.
April 19, 2012 3:57 pm That happened to one of my first hellboy trades. Gives me a good reason to upgrade it to digital at least.
April 10, 2012 1:49 pm I agree with that but then what does it leave us with? That it's only been a question of writer quality and/or no one really having a story to tell?
April 5, 2012 7:27 pm Yeah i view this as his "Taking Care of Business" outfit. He probably also has something for business casual. And, like everyone, he has a "Not Leaving the House" for those quite days at the swamp.
March 28, 2012 4:08 pm I would point to two flaws. The dialogue did a bit to much exposition at some points but it was going for a wide audience so that is quickly forgiven. The final sequence with the assault by Batman on the tower using that echolocation thing was a bit clunky and compared to other action sequences over the top. Other then that it was fantastic.
March 21, 2012 5:57 pm To be honest I was a little afraid that this would be Batman for the pick again. Not that it isn't really good or deserving but that I wanted something new to read and this pick looks like exactly that.
