May 16, 2014 8:35 pm Josh, that would be One Crazy Summer! Highly underrated.
April 14, 2014 8:43 pm I was disappointed that King's Watch was only a prelude to the Flash Gordon series. I wanted more of a complete story. $3.99 is too much for a standard on-going. It was a fun book, just not extraordinary, and when I'm reading some great stuff, this doesn't hold my attention long enough to stay with it. Still a huge Jeff Parker fan. I'll be looking forward to his next stuff.
April 10, 2014 8:38 pm I agree with Conor; Winter Soldier was heads a shoulders above Avengers. And it will definitely hold up in the future. Captain America 3 is set up perfect for a "Cap on the run", or Cap retiring, recalling the period where he adopts "The Captain" moniker and someone else takes over as "Captain America". If he's trying to hunt the Winter Soldier with Falcon, and the U.S. government doesn't want him to, it sets this up very nicely. They could bring in John Walker. You could even have Bucky take over in the Captain America role in order to redeem his actions while being mind-controlled. I don't think even the Marvel movie magicians can make the Death of Captain America story-line work as a movie. A time traveling gun is too much. I'd love to see Nuke or the Punisher come into play. The brilliance is that there are a ton of directions to go in.
September 3, 2013 11:51 am But how am I going to sort through the weekly offerings of new books and make my selection? That was the best part of my Mondays. The Flashbacks! Josh's snark! BUMMER! Looks like someone's got a case of the Mondays. I will LIVE DAMMIT! Thanks for everything. You guys are still my favs. Micah
June 26, 2013 2:44 pm The Kirby-inspired art in this book is AWESOME! Loved it!
June 3, 2013 12:52 pm In the MU, Paul is Mr. Fantastic, Josh is Hawkeye, and Conor the Thing. And Josh is Matt Fraction, Conor is Bendis, and Paul is Brubaker. In the DCU, Conor is Lex Luthor, Paul is Dr. Manhattan, and Josh is old Green Arrow.
May 14, 2013 4:13 pm I loved the ending of Planetary. I would love to see some one-off specials to fill in some of the 20th century tales. In particular a one-shot of the Nautilus would be awesome.
February 11, 2013 1:14 pm I remember that being Steve McNiven's first work at Marvel. And I LOVED IT! That guy is amazing. And H.E.R.O still stands as one of my favorite books of all time. Good times!
January 29, 2013 1:52 pm The Origin of Skeletor issue was great. I'm on board for the He-Man.
January 23, 2013 12:27 am Yeah, Conor, I heard your voice during Batman and thought sickness, allergies, or Ron's departure. It was a sweet episode guys. I'm going to really miss the dynamic. Hopefully Paul brings the Marvel love to some degree of Ron's. Best of luck, all of you!
