March 25, 2010 1:30 pm Never before have I used the "watch again" button so many times. This may actually be as awesome as it should be.
December 22, 2009 2:55 pm He's included a song from the Adam and Joe radio show! I have found my new god.
July 31, 2009 10:43 am I was going to ask "Why does Wolverine have an uber-mullet? That is some ridiculous hair". But then, it's actually more realisitic than whatever is on the other wolverine's head. Also, the Iron Man trailer gave me an epileptic fit, but I still think I'll give it a look.

When I graduate as a dentist, I'm going to have actual music playing, graphic novels in the waiting room and some sort of plasma screen on the ceiling (constant rotation of Batman TAS). Of course, this all hinges on me passing my exam tomorrow. Wish me luck iFanbase, and maybe this magical place will exist.

I think maybe I would have liked Secret Invasion if Bendis didn't make so many promises at the beginning. Dissapointing is the right word for the whole thing just because we were all expecting so much. All of the hype, and the posters showing us that the Skrulls were going to take over, eventually just made me react to the ending with "oh... you teased me with a much better ending than this".

Plus I am extremely tired of events meaning "some story and then in the last issue no tangible storyline but instead you'll see some familiar characters punch each other for one panel. Then another character will be punching someone in another panel". That way even the fight gets boring because there's nothing to follow, its just unrelated images.

I don't want to rant, it's a shame because I really wanted to like this...

Also, did it ever get tied up why Reed was able to determine who was and who wasn't a skrull with that device of his. Bendis promised it would be revealed in a later issue. This did not happen.

September 15, 2008 7:26 pm You know, I was still enjoying X factor for what it was before Stroman come onto this book. But I just cannot stand his art. However good he was before, he's a horrible artist now. Eyes do not go there! Shame, I'm having to drop this book since it's got nothing to do with the writing.
September 10, 2008 11:20 pm @LiamHoward - Oh definitely, how could I forget Spaced. Tim is again one of those more realistic portrayals you can feel empathy for. Also I totally would have read his comic book.

Really liked this issue a lot, love Romita's artwork. However, why does Norman Osborn have a high top?

And is it just me or is Menace clearly Harry Osborne? The last line and the fact that Menace wants to support Hollister seem to point towards this.

Also, Dan Slott is definitely the best of the writers on Spider-man so far, you can tell he's wanted to do this for a long time.

@Kimbo- That's true but in the second season when Dexter is pretty much trying to stop himself from being found out there is an episode in which a comic book is made about the Bay Harbour Butcher called the "Dark Avenger". I don't think Bendis really has to worry about that though, it was kinda throwaway.

I like the idea of the Skrulls actually winning Secret Invasion, and if you think about it, it kinda explains the slow progression of the story, as really, there'd be no real conclusion to the story, no final part to the story where all the heroes to band together and win. Doesn't really allow the story to stand on it's own though. Although everything I'm saying here is majorly jumping the gun on the basis of a title.

(I, by the way, have no idea how to reply to a post)
