Name: Brandon Flick

Bio: I've always loved comic books. I always loved and read them throughout my childhood, but never seriously got into comics until the early 2000's. I was heavily into the Ultimates line, Daredevil, and anything Spider-Man and X-Men. Thanks to my grandfather, I slowly started becoming interested in Golden Age DC heroes, and my interest slowly started moving towards JSA and Superman. I stopped reading comics around the time Spider-Man's "The Other" storyline and Marvel's Civil War. I quit being a Marvel Zombie and although I stopped reading single issues, I never quit reading trade paperbacks. (if anything else, just to chat with the cute girl who worked at my local Borders.) Cut to 2012. I finally started going out with the "Border's girl" and she was the one who managed to get me back into comic books. I'm very interested in the New 52, and I love picking up Animal Man, Batman, Earth 2, All Star Western, Action Comics, Justice League and Green Lantern. My all time favorite comic is Eric Powell's "The Goon". I love a good story, and I feel that someday I'll come back to Marvel....maybe the devil can magically erase my hatred of those MJS Spider-Man storylines.
