July 11, 2008 7:54 pm I had Ron pegged as more of a 'The Cure' fan (joke). 'Have to admit, I didn't even read Powers #29, I feel dirty and cheap (and not in the 'pay for it' way). I will now endevour to catch up with my powers reading, another book added to my pull list thanks to iFanboy. You do realise my mortgauge has gone up £120 this month, must....stop....reading....new....books.

I totally agree, there is far too much negative shit regarding comics on the web. It's far too easy for people to say stuff on the net that they would never say in pearson.  I still say Cap Britain was better tha Powers though ;)   (not trying to stir shit, honset, anyone who likes the Stone Roses like you Josh is OK by me)

Yes indeed, 5 stars from me. Brilliant. Who would have thought the whole John Lennon thing would have worked so well in a 'mainstream' book. I know Marvel have committed to 12 issues of this book, hopefully it'll be an ongoing.

 

This has been an excellent week, I've only given 1 book 5 stars before but I've given 3 comics the top marks already this week and I havn't even read my DC book yet!
