Name: Clayton Scholefield

Bio: "First comes smiles, then lies. Last is gunfire." - Roland Deschain, of Gilead.Big fan of comics in general. Batman and Daredevil are favorites, but also enjoy immensely what indy books have to offer. ASP, Oni, Top Shelf, and Dark Horse (can this really be called an "indy" any more?) are some of my favorite publishers. My big comicbook crisis is trying to determine what to read monthly and what to trade wait for. I never seem to have a handle on this sort of management. Sometimes I end up double-dipping!The gang at iFanboy here have done well to make me check out books that may not of hit my radar the first time around. Fear Agent and Fell are examples of this. I am greatful for the work they do here. I may not post much, but I am a daily visitor.

March 20, 2012 2:40 pm This volume contains my two most favorite Guy Davis drawn bprd stories, Garden of Souls and Killing Ground. Can't wait to read this stuff over again.
March 16, 2012 1:49 pm Love the Irving cover. Can't wait for his 3 issues (9-11) on Shade to start. Can we just get next week's best cover out of the way now? I mean really. Daredevil #10. Rivera. (I can't describe in words how awesome it is)
March 2, 2012 3:37 pm The con shows are a big deal to me and I'm glad that you are keeping this part intact. I don't go to a con every year and because of this, your con shows mean the world to me. They are very well done and I'll keep donating to help out.
February 14, 2012 1:41 pm It still blows my mind that this was a man in his mid to late 80s pushing out magic in those Witchfinder pages. Unreal.
February 2, 2012 12:31 pm I have read Watchmen close to a 1/2 dozen times in the past decade. Every time I read it, I end up wanting more. Specifically, the old Minutemen and that early era of crime fighting. Even when watching the film, the fantastic intro credits they did showing that history. I think I loved those few minutes of the film the best. This news of Cooke bringing his touch to the Watchmen universe has me so excited. DC New Frontier meets Watchmen? Hell yes!!!
January 12, 2012 1:16 am Dave Stewart is my pick of the week. Batwoman, Lobster J, and this stellar Shade issue. The guy is the god of colour.
January 11, 2012 5:58 pm I'm off to Cuba next week. Out of the snow and on a beach with comics and rum. Can't wait!
January 9, 2012 4:01 pm Clearly, this is a man of talent.
January 9, 2012 3:05 pm I think the logical response to all of this is: If I were a female comic book character breatfeeding my child right now, I would want to be a part of a breastfeeding rally inside of a Star Wars comic.
January 9, 2012 2:29 pm Actually the story is "comic book artist offended by comic book breastfeeding." When you think about it, the story is so bad its awesome.
