December 5, 2012 7:05 pm I picked this up today and was really impressed. Robinson's art and Little's colors has a really cool depth to it and the story is prettying interesting as well. Looking forward to more.
December 5, 2012 7:00 pm I was really disappointed by this first issue. The art was blah, the story was blah...which really sucks, because the team sounds awesome.
November 29, 2012 6:24 pm 1.) I never cared for Thor because of a few reasons but mainly I don't really like following what I consider "over-powered" or "God-like" characters. Not that i ever thought Thor was unstoppable, just prefer more "human-like" or "down to earth" if that makes any sense. Not to mention Thor speak, which I am so happy about with Aaron's dialogue for Thor...much better. 2.) The reason I picked this issue up for a skim in the store was because of Jason Aaron, the reason I bought it, is because I was flipping through it and seeing great art and a bad-ass looking old Thor...SOLD.
November 28, 2012 11:27 pm I grabbed the first issue and skimmed this one in store but I past on it. Issue number 1 was just too boring and didn't grab my attention.
November 28, 2012 11:21 pm Agreed...i have never been a Thor fan but these books so far are just amazing. I also doubt they will keep up the bi-monthly releases but if they do I'll pay up...WORTH IT!
November 25, 2012 11:05 am I have been enjoying this take on Hawkeye by Fraction, but this issue was little bit of a let down mainly do to missing Aja's work. Pulido isn't a bad fill-in, my only real problem with his work in this book was how he drew Kate especially in the ending panels. When she takes off the mask i actually said "Is that suppose to be Kate?". Just my opinion, still a interesting story.
November 24, 2012 12:52 pm Holy hell, how true. Tony's face, with that stupid grin. I know lots of people gripe on Land's women but his Tony Stark was just terrible.
November 24, 2012 12:40 pm First off getting through this book was like pulling teeth for me, I just wanted to stop after each page. Secondly, What the hell is the point and changing "shell heads" classic colors, seemed unnecessary. But then again, most of this Marvel NOW seems unnecessary.
November 24, 2012 12:34 pm Yes, When I opened this book I really considered just not reading it and waiting for Scarlet 12 to release. But against my better judgment I read it anyway and guess what...pure disappointment. I really hope Scarlet picks up with the next issue put this Minimum Carnage stuff behind us and move forward with a fresh new arc.
November 24, 2012 12:24 pm I was hesitant to read Batgirl because I wasn't sure how I would like the whole Barbara getting the function of her legs back but when I saw how fast Batgirl #13 sold out it sparked my curiosity. So I picked up all the back issues and was really surprised by how much I have enjoyed it. Batgirl has been pretty solid this entire run so far, which i am glad I decided to pick this series up. I was reading Catwoman but have been disappointed in that series the past few issues. After "the Death of the Family" arc I will probably be dropping Catwoman and just stick with Batgirl.
