December 24, 2012 7:08 pm @ultimate rich So you won't read Saga because "iFanboy People" like it. If so that is a lame reason not to read Saga. And really you won't waste your time with "Remender's awful storytelling" but Way's god awful storytelling is just fine. And if you honestly are not reading Saga because people seem to like it, well that just sounds idiotic because Saga is anything but a "waste of time".
December 22, 2012 5:18 pm BKV and Staples do it again. This has been one of my favorite issues so far. It gives more insight to Alana's character and her expressions throughout this issues were just great. I really love this series and I am always craving the next issue. Random side note: I can't be the only guy totally in love with Alana.
December 22, 2012 5:02 pm Deepspace, even though DC is a business out to make money. You have to give your employees respect....being canned via e-mail is not respect. Even if Gail deserved to be fired, doing it by e-mail is just pathetic. You make it sound like you expect businesses to treat their employees like crap. If DC continues to treat their creative talent in such a way it will make it more difficult to lure new talent and thusly the quality of comics goes down.
December 15, 2012 3:22 pm And a blow to the head to get through this crap story.
December 15, 2012 2:41 pm Yeah Suicide Squad and Catwoman have been really disappointing to me as well lately. Been with them both since issue #1 but the past few issues of these series has just been...meh. I might be dropping both of these series soon.
December 15, 2012 2:31 pm Its comic books, no one dies for good. I think the premise is a great one for comic books, throw a bunch of super human teenagers in a pit and tell them to fight to the death...hell yeah. And yes this is a take on "Hunger Games", which was a take on "Battle Royal" but it was a book and I believe a manga as well before it was a movie.
December 15, 2012 2:17 pm Well I am still on the fence about this series. I really loved it when Stegman was drawing it, but the minimum carnage crossover just sucked. I guess I’ll give it a few more issues hopefully they can wash the bad taste that the crossover has left. If not, Superior Spider-Man is coming soon.
December 14, 2012 12:44 pm Finally got around to reading this and was really surprised. This is a pretty fun book, I know the whole "Hunger Games/ Battle Royal" thing is really popular right now but I really enjoyed this book. I could just stare at the panel of hazmat burning the hell out of X-23 all day....awesome panel. Anyway art was good and the story is a little weak but they needed the set up to put these characters in a situation like this. Overall it was a fun read and I'll keep up with it for a little bit anyway.
December 6, 2012 8:14 pm This has been a really good series so far but this issue was really great. The flash back panels are really well done and I really don't know where the story is going, which is refreshing. Looking forward to more of this.
December 6, 2012 3:30 pm Wow, I really didn't think I would see this much positive feedback for this book. I didn't hate the art I just think it’s the wrong style for this type of book. Thunderbolts will need an artist that’s good with depicting action, the panels just seem too stagnate. Then in comparison to the other Marvel Now stuff that’s been releasing this was a really disappointing first issue in terms of the story. The story didn't grab my attention anywhere throughout the book. I don't know maybe it will get better but I am not holding my breath, this one will be a pass for me until I hear much better things.
