DC Histories: Stephanie Brown (Spoiler / Robin IV / Batgirl IV)
May 24, 2012 2:27 am @Conor: Maybe Morrison'll soft-shoe it into New 52 continuity, gently sliding it into place until we don't notice anymore. Or maybe he'll just blow some juju dust over a globe at 3 a.m., light some sage while whispering an incantation or two and we'll all forget there was even a question to begin with.

May 24, 2012 12:11 am Pre-New 52? Well, isn't Grant Morrison special. EVERYONE else has to cancel their runs (some quite abruptly), but that warlock Morrison's still good to go. How nice to be him.

BREAKING: ASTONISHING X-MEN – Northstar is Getting Married
May 22, 2012 1:16 pm At first, my response was, "*yawn*, another writer showing how 'progressive' comics can be. Aren't we all so cool now...". Then I saw the cover, and damn if those two grooms don't look like the happiest comic book couple I've seen in a while. Kind of makes me feel a little warm and fuzzy inside.

Light Week? Try YOUNGBLOOD #71, THE COMIC BOOK HISTORY OF COMICS TP, or BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT #9
May 22, 2012 1:05 pm Conor, if it weren't for the fact that the New 52 Tim Drake is nothing like our lil' buddy from the old DCU (or as I like to call it, "the DCU that didn't disappoint me every other month"), I'd call you a Bat-Heretic. As it is, I'd only want to see this Tim stick around in the hopes that one day, some writer will be able to slip a GOOD characterization of him past Bob Harris and Jim Lee, and we could all care about Red Robin again.

May 22, 2012 2:06 am I like how DC's strategy to be "new reader friendly" includes forcing anyone interested in the story to buy two other floppy-books and an Annual. An Annual, for god's sake!

May 22, 2012 1:57 am I'm coming back to this book to try again. So far the Bat-family of books haven't had enough Tim Drake for my taste, and I like Winick.
