September 14, 2011 2:43 pm SEXISM!!!! What's about all of those great FEMALE superheroes that would look awesome styling a 'stache? I'm picturing a runs-in-the-family Commissioner-stache on Batgirl, for starters! And a plot line where every guesses that Batgirl is really Commissioner Jim in drag, because of their matching mustaches. Also, I don't think there's Black Canary anywhere in the new 52, but Dinah would completely rock a 'stache.
January 26, 2011 1:31 pm I think the arc was great, and would have been better only if the ending weren't exactly the same as Wrath of Khan (with Sue as Kirk and Reed as Scotty, by the way.)
April 2, 2009 1:46 am @drtiehead.  How do you know that Aquaman was circumcised the first time?

The Lord of Retcons is going a little too far this time.  This is the guy with the time travelling treadmill.  He'd go back in time for anything, like if he forgot to record Cosby on his VCR.  Suddenly, it occurs to him that an unsolved tragedy involving his parents past is worth exploring?

Bart appeared in several panels of Legion, unexplained, in a different century.  Not saying he can't get from there to here, or that its Johns's fault that Legion is late, but it definitely detracted from my reading experience.

You are a comics fan.  Please re-adjust your Botherometer appropriately.

I will admit, however, "We're gonna need more Rogues" was pretty great.

Oh, c'mon!  Were you not bothered by any of: (a) Story: We are just now learning of the horrible murder in Barry Allen's past that has gone heretofore unmentioned?; (b) Continuity: Bart? or (c) Art: Iris Allen and Linda Park are apparently the same age now?

Of course, that's not all any one person's fault, but this issue didn't do it for me at all.  Too many "Huh?"s.  In terms of "don't need to know anything," it sure as heck helps to know who Savitar was, (not to mention Chyre, and pretty much the entire Johns Flash run.)  How old is Chyre supposed to be, by the way?  Did he also babysit Jay Garrick when Jay was a toddler?

I'm not sure what that really changes, though.  They are still only a few minutes away at Super-speed.

Also, there wasn't a good Science-fictiony explanation for how that happened.  Superman can't make planets out of nothing.  Why can Supermom?

November 11, 2008 1:55 pm I pulled this because it is AWESOME!!!  When one of the crew is captured on an alien planet, the captain finds her by using her Gaydar.
September 17, 2008 2:36 pm This entire mini-series reads a whole lot better if you just assume that the most important part is what happens to Comet's hair.

Can someone explain what I should be assuming in Action comics?

Less than a year ago, someone accidentally dropped the bottle city of Kandor in the Fortress of Solitude. Now the bottle city of Kandor is (a) in one piece; (b) in Brainiac's ship; and (c) has different people in it.

Is this a different bottle city of Kandor?

Does that last bottle city of Kandor not exist any more?

Is it the same bottle, but with new and exciting residents from Argo City in it?

What assumptions should I be making here?
