THOR: GOD OF THUNDER #6
March 16, 2013 8:35 pm I love Aaron's Thor, but this origin issue felt weak. Is it just me or does the power Gorr stole/took from one of his gods very, very similar to the venom symbiote? How is this power enough to take down gods like Thor?

Artist Mike Hawthorne Jumps On DEADPOOL
January 10, 2013 11:28 pm Is Hawthorne taking over permanently or will he be switching back and forth on different arcs with Moore? Kind of like what happens on Marvel's Hawkeye series.

Great Moments in Comics History: Action Comics #454
January 10, 2013 11:21 pm I think by the time he was actually flying and not just leaping over buildings in a single bound, he was solar powered. That being the case he would not need food to sustain himself.

You Tell Us: Who is Your Definitive Batman Artist? [Update]
January 10, 2013 1:56 pm I grew up with Bruce Timm's Batman from the Animated series, but I think Batman never looked better than when Jim Lee drew him during the Hush arc.

JUSTICE LEAGUE #14
November 25, 2012 1:12 am With the exception of 1 or 2 issues all of the issues of JL have had excellent art. The stories are the problem. They never seem to fully flush themselves out, having no tangible middle and ending very abruptly. Also, there is never a decent segway from arc to arc. It's like those old TV shows that have something new happen each week, but never address any of the changes that happened in the previous weeks episodes.

CAPTAIN AMERICA #1
November 25, 2012 1:00 am Like a lot of the people commenting here, this is my first ever Cap solo series book. I picked it up mainly because of Remender and the work he has done on X-Force, Secret Avengers and Venom. The book read like something very much from Remender, and as usual was interesting and held my attention. The art, on the other hand was sub-par. Romita's art fits well on on a project like Hit-Girl, but with this series it felt juvenile and outmatched by the writing. From reading some of the posts I guess a lot of people don't like Romita Jr.'s and Greg Land's art. Well, Land is penciling Marvel Now's Iron Man and I think that looks pretty decent, even good. With Romita Jr. I really understand what people are complaining about.

FanExpo 2012: Ramon Perez Joins WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN in 2013
August 26, 2012 8:31 pm Frankly, I be happy if he became the only person to pencil Wolverine & The X-Men. Jason Aaron's stories are great, it's the art that brings the book down.
