My mother is awesome, but for some reason she’d never buy me comics as a child. As a teenager I’d poke my head into comic book shops but always found them confusing, scary places and was never sure what to buy. But then I went to University – and got a student loan – and I finally took the plunge. I’ve been addicted ever since. I am currently unemployed but have been a successful comedy club promoter. I have done interviews with British stand-up comedians as well as short films and comedy sketches which can be found on www.youtube.com/imjackcooper. I write a blog that’s mainly about television and comic books at www.bah-blah-blog.blogspot.com . I reside in Wales (UK) but will soon be moving to Toronto (Canada)

June 8, 2011 10:04 pm Oh just managed to answer that myself... Googe eh? (The answer is no - http://www.dccomics.com/dccomics/comics/?cm=19586)
June 8, 2011 10:01 pm Will we get one more Tomassi / Gleeson arc before the reboot?
June 8, 2011 9:59 pm Dreadful, dreadful art... just... yucky.

Don't mind the story too much, but it has to be said - this is the first time bad art has really made me think "f**k this!"... ever. nice work.
June 7, 2011 5:33 pm Love the fact pretty much everybody is united in excitment for Swamp Thing and Animal Man haha.

Detective and Sweet Tooth are my two favourite comics at the moment. Swamp Thing and Animal Man are two of my favourite characters.

Perfect. Nice one DC, NICE ONE.

I love Cornell too... but I'm afraid I have no idea who Etrigan is. Better get on Wiki... anybody give me some good reading points?
June 6, 2011 7:42 am ^^ I'm not sure why that speech bubble thing keeps happening?
June 6, 2011 7:41 am @positronic  Not sure I agree. The Morrison books (just Inc now) might be confusing to new readers... but Detectective, Batman & Robin, Batman etc are pretty simple. All new readers need to know is a) Dick is Batman now cos Bruce went missing for a bit and b) Damian is the rapey son of Bruce and Talia. Once you've got that basic info down you could easily read the current Batbooks and know what's going on for the most part.

Cormac Was DC really on the way to a whimpering exit? I didn't realise things were that bad. Suely a world can't exsist where there are no Batman comics... sounds like summit outta Flashpoint.
June 5, 2011 9:47 pm I adore Sweet Tooth... not a fan of Superboy at all - but is it still worth checking out?
June 5, 2011 9:40 pm Is he a villian though? What I mean is... I'm kinda surprised with how much I agreed with what he said. I think if I was a part of the Academy I would have accepted his offer...

@thompsonlive Yeah if you go back to issue 20 the logo can be seen inside the Dam too.

Another solid issue, although it was always gonna be hard to top the BEAR FIGHT (!) from the previous book.

Maybe I'm really slow on the uptake of this one... but anybody else think there's any significance in Jeppard rhyming with shepherd?
