I suppose they could've been, but that would have spoiled the surprise in the text. You make a good point--I might have been able to hide certain "parts" by overlapping the robots.
ShonenRafa77,
Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, it's fun drawing Tony when he gets all scary.
Next month we'll see what happens. It includes perhaps my favorite page between Tony and Samsara/Modeus.
I think SpiderTitan comes closest to my view. It's not always clear where the writing ends and the art begins, or vice versa. Great art/writing teams connect in a way that goes beyond the two defined roles.
And let's not forget about colorists! They can make or break a book--really!
All that said, thanks to Thomas Katers for giving us pencil-pushers and ink-splatterers some props.
Gray,
We'll see...;)
Oh, we have a creepy page in this one. One of my faves from the series. I think you'll know it when you see it...

mikeandzod21,
Thanks for the kind words, although I think Diego did a great job filling in.
I'm excited about the reaction to some of the revelations in this issue. Mark Waid hit this one out of the park!
