March 13, 2013 9:16 pm Notice how the cover is empty boots, it seems kind of like they're saying there are shoes to fill. I still think Harper would make a much better Oracle than a Robin.

I don't know why everyone seems so down on this, it's the best movie representation of Frank yet.   I'll give it to the naysayers, the story is a little lacking, but for the first time ever they captured the remorse less killing machine Punisher from the comics.  It's like watching a slasher movie, you constantly are on the edge of your seat, waiting for more people to die, but this time you don't get any pangs of guilt because the bad people or being killed in cool and clever ways.

The story does kind of drag, it's definatly no "Welcome Back, Frank" but  it's not tedious like the last one was, besides I don't want a punisher who's passtimes include drinking and crying,  that's whay I do.

October 9, 2008 9:36 am I thought it was interesting, I was told my comic book shop sold out of Obama issues in the first two hours they were opened.  I managed to get the last flip book, but there were still plenty of McCain issues left...
June 27, 2008 8:39 pm I was at a convention right after this movie was announced.  Mark Millar said he would use whatever influence he had to get a cameo for Adam West and Christopher Reeve (obviously this was befor he passed) then they decided they were only going to use the title.  I'm not going to see this in my own pathetic silent protest.

I was excited by this issue because of last issues sexual tension between Bruce and Zatanna.  I felt totally let down by the lame "some day" conclusion.  It seemed like a cop out, introduce a book changing concept but don't follow thorugh.  I wants Bruce and Zatanna to hook up not put it off indefinatly

The only reason I bought this was because of COnner's near death mini but I'm glad I did.  I know it's probably just a throwaway mini but it's as current as it can be without skrulls which is kind of cool.  I'll deffinatly pick up the next couple.

I bought something crazy like 20 books this month, I'm not quite through them all but this will be a hard book to beat for the best this week.  I've always kinda liked Iron Man but whenever I bought his series I've always been bored/ uninterested in catching up with it.  I've always just admired from afar ( I loves me some Mighty Avengers Iron Man, when he's in it, and I agreed with him in Civil War) This issue is awsome in that it's almost current in Marvel continuity (no SI) but is also written to grab people fresh from the movie.

Without going inot depth or spoilers:  I felt so let down by this issue. The only reveal was near meaningless except for show some Green Arrow/ Black Canary envy.  That's about the only reason this exsists.  Everything else could have been summed up in two well laid out pages.  After a awsome start this was just a lame duck issue.  I've always gotten angry when people say Bendis likes to drag things out... but in this case....  the only real hightlight I can see is that I want to see what can be made in  a cave (or ruins) from SCRAPS!!!
