December 24, 2013 5:38 pm I can't wait to listen to this. This is my fav episode all year. The only downside is no Ron this year for music. Speaking of Ron am I the only one thinking he was the guy behind Image hooking up with Dropbox for drm free comics disruption? Image just crushed it with that idea. If the other publishers are smart they will follow up quick. Anyways, Keep up the great work with the show guys and have a great holiday
September 1, 2013 4:44 pm I'm so sad to hear this news guys, but i thank you for all the great stories and the hours of enjoyment you gave me with your website. I raise a glass and say cheers and good luck to you all on future projects!

June 15, 2013 6:56 pm That scene really was disappointing. It's not like Supes has not killed the phantom zone criminals in the comics, but in the Byrne run when he did it was so earned. It only happened after every other option was gone. As has been said higher up in the posts lots of people had trouble with Supes not keeping the damage down and therefore the body count, that to have him kill Zod just makes Supes seem like he has no sense of morality. Which is the whole point of the character, that he has absolute power yet does not use it. Then again this is a Supes that was raised by a Pa Kent that said to let a bus load of children die.
June 15, 2013 8:39 am Agreed if anything the theme was troubling to me. It was the reverse of Inherit the Wind and the Scopes monkey trials. In this the bad guys are science and for evolution and the good guy is Jesus and about trust or faith. And they just kept hitting that home.
June 15, 2013 8:33 am Agreed. Great review Paul. How can this be Superman when it's not Inspirational or romantic? Pa Kent tells him to let a bus load of children die. No no no no. Sorry. I'll give them small points for trying something different with Superman, but at the same time you need to stay true to core values of the character. BTW. Everyone should listen to Paul's fuzzy typewriter reviews for the Rocky franchise. they are loads of fun. Now there are some inspirational and romantic films.
March 25, 2013 6:01 pm hahahah. I'm with ya both those series were just to cool for school, i guess
March 18, 2013 6:03 pm Wow. It was great to see Waid an Wieringo's FF. I really wish marvel would give Waid some omnibus love. How about a Cap or FF omnibus of Waid's issues. Just sayin.
December 3, 2012 1:17 pm Kyle Baker's Plastic Man series was an underrated gem! It was like Looney Toons with superheroes in comic book form. I still miss the fun of this series. Like everything else DC did a terrible job collecting it, so you are best to go the way of back issues.
November 1, 2012 9:18 pm Pile on! Saga it is! That time off just showed me how much i love this book. I feel like i have a bad drug habit and can't wait for my next fix
