GHOST RIDER #33
March 9, 2009 6:55 pm I hate to say it, but because of our crippling economy and my quickly diminishing funds, I'm going to have to drop this book along with some others. I'm sort of reluctant to do so, but the last handful of issues haven't really been as good as Aaron's initial super campy and super enjoyable arc with the highway cannibal ghosts. Hopefully our country will flip around and I'll get these in trades later.

Book of the Month – All-Star Superman Vol. 2
March 4, 2009 6:53 pm My only beed with Quitey's art on this book is that Metropolis is never as hevaily populated as a metropolitan of its stature should be. Any given panel he does of the Metropolis streets always has only a handful of people walking the sidewalks. But that's just unnecessary nitpicking.

UNCANNY X-MEN #506
February 18, 2009 10:05 pm At first I was really bothered by Fraction's handling of this book, especially the over the top flirting scenes between Scott and Emma that happened way too often. Now that Fraction's cut those scenes down and he's gaining a better comprehension of the team dynamic, as well as giving everyone there moment in the spotlight, I'm really falling head over heels for this series. Dodson will be missed; I like him better than Land.

5 Easy Steps to Make X-Factor a Good Comic Book Again
February 4, 2009 11:16 pm I whole-heartedly believe that, aside from the truly awful issues that Stroman drew--mostly awful because of that man's complete inability to draw anything even remotely resemblant of a human being (maybe he's drawing with his opposite hand for shits and giggles)--X-Factor has been, at the least, a good comic. Yes, it hasn't been as great as the earlier issues but I don't think it needs any retooling now that David is in the clear in respects to bogging tie-ins. Last issue is a great, if not perfect, example of that. In fact, I think the last issue was quite possibly the best issue in the line, mostly for its deftly written character moments. I am unbelievably eager to see where this is going and if David's special intro to last issue is any portent for things to come (he did, afterall, ask us not only to keep the last issue a secret but the ones to follow as well), we're in for one real doozy. This article, in all honesty, actually came as a shock to me seeing that the last issue was amazing. Oh, well, to each his own.

TERRY MOORES ECHO #9
January 26, 2009 6:51 pm Is this actually coming out this week? I was looking through Midtown's solicitations a couple of minutes ago and didn't see anything about Echo coming out. Also, there isn't any cover available yet, so, yeah... Does anyone know anything concrete?

12.04.2008 – X-Men Noir #1
December 5, 2008 11:22 am I don't thnk this title's supposed to be out till next week actually. I went to Midtown comics in New York and they said that Diamond accidentally shipped this to some of the stores; it's supposed to be officially out next week.
