May 26, 2012 7:18 am I'm in the same boat for Prophet. I love sci-fi epics but when the world building is this dense and pacing is slow (by comic standards) I like trades. Plus you cannot beat the price. Thanks Image!!
May 23, 2012 10:07 pm A week or two ago I read an article where Burnham was bragging on how great the book was going to be. He was not wrong. There was a TON to love about this book (Batcow being a solid contestant for Panel of the Year), but I think what I loved most about it was that it felt like a double-sized issue and it was only 22 pages! Comic-booking at its finest. Can't wait for more. Did anyone get a strong Quitely vibe? Chris Burnham is certainly rising on my list of favorite artists.
May 23, 2012 5:59 pm Didn't hate it but didn't love it 3/5 for me and if I read this again it'll be in trades.
May 22, 2012 9:59 pm I did the exact same thing. Think I'll give this a shot though, sounds fun!
May 20, 2012 10:08 pm I dug the Director's Cut.
May 14, 2012 10:18 pm Haha, didn't realize this was Murphy right away but it make think of the wonderful silent panel in the last American Vampire: SotF issue. I'd also love to see him do more Batman.
May 14, 2012 10:10 pm and Scalped! It's all good though, we don't have to pick one favorite.
May 14, 2012 10:09 pm *month* or issue, rather, since it's been a little while.
