June 18, 2013 1:02 pm I read this is issues for a long time but I dropped out a little before the issues collected here. Looking forward to going back and reading Sweet Tooth as a whole.
June 18, 2013 12:58 pm Also picking this up for Daredevil. Rivera cover is a plus too :) This makes the only issue I grab this week.
June 17, 2013 9:39 pm Just the final Sweet Tooth trade for me this week and leftovers from my bin. BQ: I partook of the Criterion sale on Amazon and grabbed Rashamon, The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, and Fritz Lang's M. I don't know if excited is the right word, but the one I'm most looking forward to adding now is Shoah.
June 13, 2013 1:35 pm @Paul- True words. I used it because I just saw the international trailer post. It looks awful and that's saying something after Origins. I don't expect this to be great. I dug 300 and tend to like sword and sandal battle epics but am not expecting to be blown away. Could be fun on the big screen though.
June 12, 2013 10:13 pm I saw Smart People, interesting directorial choice. Could be good...looks more entertaining than The Wolverine by quite a bit.
June 12, 2013 7:24 pm Dug this quite a bit. The thing I loved about this the most was hearing Alec Guinness and James Earl Jones in my head as their characters spoke. I thought Wood nailed the Kenobi beat. I also liked the first arc wrap up pages and I'm looking forward to the next six issue and a new artist!
June 12, 2013 7:00 pm Holy Crap! What a great issue! The rhythm of the story was perfect, everyone seems to be right in sync with each other. And that last page...gotta be one of the panels of the year.
June 12, 2013 6:17 pm I thought this was a wonderful set up. Everything I want out of a first issue of a big story. The pacing was good and the art was beautiful! Capullo and Albuquerque tore it up!
June 10, 2013 7:06 pm I've cut down my pull list a ton but this is looking like a pretty big week. Not sure if I'll pick everything up this week but I've pulled: AMERICAN VAMPIRE: THE LONG ROAD TO HELL BATMAN #21 PETER PANZERFAUST #11 SAVAGE WOLVERINE #6 (Zeb Wells on Elektra again!!) STAR WARS #6 SUPERMAN UNCHAINED #1 THE DREAM MERCHANT #2 THE MANHATTAN PROJECTS #12 THE TRUE LIVES OF THE FABULOUS KILLJOYS #1 THOR: GOD OF THUNDER #9 BQ: Reading through series that I've never read before. Working on X-Statix and Astro City.
June 10, 2013 7:00 pm Wasn't sure if I was gonna do this in issues but I have been, for the most part, really digging what Snyder's been doing with the title. Add Rafael Albuquerque on back up story art and I'm in for the first issue.
