March 22, 2013 1:53 pm Anyone else guilty of looking for Waldo in that The Private Eye page?
March 21, 2013 11:14 am I personally believe this is the breakthrough comics needed. By adding Angel to the Marvel U, the appeal to non-comic readers to get into comics will be too strong. Moreso than rebooting every book to a new reader friendly #1. One and a half year old 52 and Marvel NOW(ish) be damned. Look at Angela. Look at her! What else is there? What else could be more appealing to a non-comic reader? How will Angela survive physical battle with so little armor? Guardians of the Galaxy #5 (not #1) will not have these answers, but it will be in hands across the world. Forget baseball season in June. Angela. Angela. ANGELA! They will roar. The masses will be satiated. It is now a comic book world.
March 20, 2013 4:07 pm I'll take a moment to let the crippling disappointment set in.... PS - Grab a beer man!
March 20, 2013 3:49 pm I definitely didn't intend for these people to collaborate, but now that you mention it, having Alan Moore work on something of Rob Liefeld's, in any capacity, would possibly end this universe. So I'm up for it. Even if he is just lettering. Earth continuity is getting out of hand.

February 13, 2013 8:34 pm I just want to commend your abilities at copy/pasting from the CBR forums.
February 7, 2013 11:09 am So far I am on board with both books. I have faith that Hickman is in it for the long game. It takes time to introduce new characters to the audience so giving each their own issue to flesh them out is a lot better than just shoehorning them in on the fly. This is going to be a slow burn that will build to a conflagration before your very eyes. I do think the titles may need to be changed though. Avengers should be New Avengers and New Avengers should be Classic Avengers or Avengers Illuminati. Something like that to describe those old souls in the book.
July 19, 2012 4:25 pm I was lucky enough to get a copy of The Underwater Welder at Heroes Con last month. It's so so soooo good! It hits you in the gut and grabs you by the heart. I will not be surprised if it is book of the month next month. I hope you enjoy it Ron! I was very glad to get to go to Heroes Con this year as it seems more focused on comics and the creators. I think I'd be overwhelmed at SDCC making Heroes con just the right size. And I got to meet Walt Simonson!!! Hell of a guy!
