January 30, 2012 4:20 pm Vaughn on superhero movies, in 2010: “It’s been mined to death and in some cases the quality control is not what it’s supposed to be,” Vaughn said. “People are just going to get bored of it.”
June 3, 2011 2:14 pm I appreciate your perspective on this, Tom. "If you have been reading comics for any other reason than you enjoy the content between the covers then you have been conned." I agree. All I want is good stories.
May 27, 2011 1:53 pm @TNC. But that is Wonder Woman's costume. It's worked for 70 years. If you change it (even just adding pants), everybody complains, and with enough changes it's not even recognizable as the same character. Might as well do the real thing. Which is what I see above.
I wonder if negative response to the picture, the script reviews, etc., led to it not getting picked up. I was looking forward to it, and to showing it to my daughter...
May 19, 2011 4:03 pm I agree - when I started reading comics, Grant and Breyfogle were just awesome on Detective Comics. I'm excited to see them return to Batman!
Does anyone else think this sounds less like a movie than a warmup for another eventual movie (The Avengers)? Even this poster seems to be advertising the Avengers movie.
January 3, 2011 2:34 pm I think it's a great way to make up for the fewer story pages per issue. And in terms of the time it takes to read a letters page versus a splash page or even a diagloue-light story page, you might even end up with more reading time for your money! Also, does anyone know if Uncle Elvis is still around?

Conor, I appreciate your measured review.
