August 29, 2008 10:35 am Yeah, the 3d combined with the craziness in this book was a headache-inducing cocktail indeed.  I actually went into the store hoping that there would be a non-3d version but...alas.  No matter what happened in the rest of the book though, I freaking loved that first page!  That's a quintessential silver age style first page if I've ever seen one!

August 29, 2008 10:32 am For the most part I really enjoyed this book.  I really had to detatch myself from it being involved with final crisis to enjoy it though because there were so many continuity problems, and not just little ones.  Hal is kinda' supposed to be in Green Lantern jail.  I'm usually not one to quibble about such things but I have to say it did bother me.  When I thought about it not related to Final Crisis, however, and just a story about what these characters would do the night before a huge cataclysm of some kind where they thought they had a good chance of losing, I really enjoyed it.

August 29, 2008 10:28 am I laughed long and hard when I turned to that last page.  Then I realized that Atlas is probably going to beat the ever living hell out of Krypto and that's just uncool.

August 12, 2008 11:10 am I like this book and Black Panther a thousand times better than the main book...if someone would have told me that before Secret Invasion started I would have slapped them across the face and declared them to be a fool...

July 14, 2008 6:33 pm Perhaps I'm a sado masochist but I'm still picking this book up...I'm secretly hoping that the book will improve now that the purple-people eater...sorry...Konvikt...with a "K" mind you, is gone...
