March 5, 2013 6:30 pm This is totally stupid. Shame on the artist and all those stores that are pulling the book from release. Whether or not your agree or disagree with the person, they have a right in this country to express their views. I don't agree with a lot of things, but I allow myself to try and understand the other side. Just because I read comics does not mean I agree with everything that is written or drawn in them. Should I stop buying my comics and protest until they stop doing what I don't like? It is the same thing in reverse. I will not ramble on about this, I think i is childish and stupid. If this was done in reverse, I can just imagine all the comments on how stupid those people are acting. Enough is Enough, lets just simply enjoy the comics.
February 8, 2013 11:34 am This is a reply to Arathi411. To me Threshold is doomed already. I was not really impressed with the origin story in the Annual and the first issue still has me questioning it. The only thing I found good about the book was the LarFleeze back up story. I most likely will not give Vibe a shot or Katana. I loved Katana in Birds of Prey, but just don't see her as a strong enough character to hold it's own title.
February 8, 2013 11:25 am Wow! I have not read Firestorm, Hawkman or Deathstroke, but I do read Team 7, Ravangers and Sword and Sorcery. I can see why Team 7 is being cancelled, it was a nice book, but did not really fit into the DC current timeframes. Ravangers I will miss as I thought this was well done. Lots of things to explore with the characters there. Sword and Sorcery, to me this is just to quick. I know this may not appeal or sell very well, but it was well done and had an interesting story line going. I will miss this title as well. I don't need five more Batman books, I love Batman, but enough is enough you will make him the X-Men with a bazillion titles going on. To me this is going degrade the story telling of the Batman mythos.
February 2, 2013 1:37 pm Hope I helped wiith that whim, I love this book and posted a few reviews on it as well. Love the 24 reference, it does really fit.
January 28, 2013 8:55 pm This sucks! Both of these shows have been very well done, no reason to drop them. Good story line, good artwork. I'm sorry but they can drop the Regular Show and Adventure Time, sorry but I just cannot get into those shows, maybe it's my age.
January 17, 2013 9:51 pm Please remember that X-men originally came out in 1963. Though Cyclops may have not aged in comic book time many years, the history and actual time has changed greatly from 1963 to 2013. Yes it does scream "Back to the Future", however it makes sense when you read the context of the original 1963 story lines to todays story lines. I think they have captured the original purity that the original X-Men team had way back 50 years ago.
January 14, 2013 1:13 pm I like this idea and is pretty much what one of the replaced titles was with the exception of Colosuss being on the team. I simply hope that the story line is better then the Legacy relaunch as I am slowly lossing interst in that book.
January 10, 2013 11:25 am I could not agree more with your review. This is one of the Best Marvel Now Re-Releases to date.
December 25, 2012 10:01 am At this point I think all we can do as comic fans is speculate on what happened and who is at fault. Usually fault is a mutual thing. To make a fair judgement call on who is to blame is to fully understand what happened, and since we all do not work there and are not privy to what happened, I don't think anyone on the outside can lay blame correctly. If DC and Gail can work it out and she is willing to come back, then it is a plus to us as fans. This as Deepspace has stated is simply part of working life. These issues will always be there no matter what type of job or profession you take up. I am personally glad she is back on Batgirl.
December 20, 2012 11:03 pm This is also a wonderful and suprisingly wonderful Re-Launch from Marvel. I was very sceptical of them bringing the old X-Men back to the future, but they have done it right in my opinion. This and the new Thor have been very pleasent books to read and enjoy. I like the way Cyclops (present day) looks at what he once was and to me questions himself. The purity of what once was to what has become is really felt in the story line with Cyclops, though I think the story missed some aspects with some of the other X-Men. I also loved the way it came out in the book of the "How could you Scott" look in Jean Grey's face to Cyclops (past). You could really feel that she was torn knowing what is to come for their future in the person who way back when was an innocent crush.
